You sort of have to get permission to talk to a potential coach who is under contract to another school. Pretty basic stuff...Is it illegal to reach out to a coach from another team, i.e..SF, and see if there's an interest in coaching Nebraska in 2018?

For **** sake! My whole point is firing M.R. and having someone in mind who would be made aware of intentions ( which happens in every aspect of life) and that person ( i.e. SF) giving strong indication they will fill vacancy..which happens in business every day. Then having retained staff after firing, made aware of intentions..strong affirmations, who will be taking control in 2018, so that staff can tell potential recruits what to look forward too, so when said coach arrives, the process is in advance stages!
