Totally agree.Oklahoma St hiring North Texas Coach Eric Morris I think is a sneaky good hire to get their program back on track.
According to Gundy, Okie State doesn’t have the dollars to compete. Texas Tech and BYU are gonna buy the **** out of that conference.Oklahoma St hiring North Texas Coach Eric Morris I think is a sneaky good hire to get their program back on track.

Pretty doubtful he’s on the list. Being an ex hawk is not a prerequisite. If KF retires, I sure hope they don't hire Mark.
Great Hawkeye, but no thanks.
That's a pretty sweet visor. I think I'll pick one up.Golding looks like he just rolled out of bed and threw one of these on:

Stoops had his time. Had a few solid years but the league is a meat grinder, pretty much like the Indiana job in the B1G. It’s probably a bottom 3 job in the league. And I would agree with you.My guess is a lot of these changes are gonna be costly flops.
I thought he could have gotten a much higher profile job than this.
I really thought he was going to be the next Penn State coach, just thought they were waiting till after the BCG.He interviewed with penn state, no? And turned them down?

Does Terry even want it still?
I hope he makes them pay through the nose!
They should be jumping for joy of they land Campbell.Matt Campbell's name is moving up the Penn State list. I bet it's still Terry Smith or an NFL coordinator, but it wouldn't surprise me if Campbell gets a call.
Campbell don't sound like a guy who is leaving. Just had their signing class and will start bowl prep. He sounds like staying to meMatt Campbell's name is moving up the Penn State list. I bet it's still Terry Smith or an NFL coordinator, but it wouldn't surprise me if Campbell gets a call.
Northwestern's sort of worked out for themMatt Campbell's name is moving up the Penn State list. I bet it's still Terry Smith or an NFL coordinator, but it wouldn't surprise me if Campbell gets a call.
I don't know if he was a candidate prior to, IMO he'd be a great hire, and with ISU struggling with NIL might signal isn't time to jump ship. I'm assuming he'd take some guys with him.Campbell don't sound like a guy who is leaving. Just had their signing class and will start bowl prep. He sounds like staying to me
Probably don't want to uproot kids.I don't know if he was a candidate prior to, IMO he'd be a great hire, and with ISU struggling with NIL might signal isn't time to jump ship. I'm assuming he'd take some guys with him.
This and as has been said many times before. Why not go the KF route and take an essentially 25 year contract at $6-8M per year and never worry about getting canned.Probably don't want to uproot kids.
Uprooting a family of 4 kids isn't easy. Campbell could very well decide $5M/yr plus external income is plenty when partnered with a low cost of living, job security and a happy family. This and as has been said many times before. Why does his family have to be unhappy moving to PA? I mean if Iowa St is where he wants to be fine but don’t most people take a job or get into a profession to try and get as far as you can or better best you can be? With the changing landscape of college football it’s going to get harder and harder for ISU. Penn St, if truly interested is a top 10 job with all the built in advantages.Uprooting a family of 4 kids isn't easy. If someone asked would you rather have $40M and be happy or $80M and be stressed, most people would take the former. Yes, that's an oversimplification, but the concept is valid.
Well, looks like uprooting the entire tree is going to happen.Probably don't want to uproot kids.
If it’s Campbell or another HC odds are half class at former school follows him. So much easier to get out of the signing commitment after coaches leave. Fact that psu fired Franklin in Oct. and come signing day doesn’t have a coach is hilarious and shows the utter incompetence by the AD.Campbell don't sound like a guy who is leaving.
