Nah, it just takes a little common sense to see what he meant. The cheating and favoritism is talked about on here daily.
There's a reason why both Duke and UNC had to have somebody already in the program to hand it over to as it would be too risky to bring somebody in from the outside and have them repulsed by the gargantuan cheating that is going on. Cons only trust fellow cons.

UK isn’t jealous of Duke. We have 8 titles over a period of 64 years and under 5 coaches. Duke has 5 under 1 coach over 24 years.
I suspect that once they see the results after coach K retires, they will start caring a little bit more.
