I have thought for a while Cal's constant screaming on the sidelines and berating of players was going to eventually turn kids off... Not saying I agree with that but it's just reality. He does go overboard with it sometimes to this point it's almost embarrassing.

I agree 100%. Constantly screaming "Go!", "What are you doing?", or "Get the ball"! is NOT coaching. I personally believe our players are so damned unnerved that they're playing tentative and not letting their true skills and athletic ability take over. They're thinking too much, and not playing naturally. I don't think there's any doubt. At some point, players just tune that stuff out as well.

Actually most think he will. why would you play an extra year in HS when you could play 2 at the higher level? Doesn't make much sense. But he won't announce it til after summer ball just like Bagley so he can play it . I'd be shocked if Wiseman wasn't on our team.

This board has been around over 20 yrs. There have been several "coach x11's" over the years.
To be an insider you have to do it for a living ala Daniels,Meyer,etc
To be a true insider you would literally have to hack the coaching staff email's to really know what's going on.
People give there opinion as fact some like to make long *** posts in doing so.

Maybe he is what he says maybe he is not,his posts make as much sense as any of the rest we see here.I agree he could be a little more specific with his information without betraying any confidences.

As to how accurate his info is,just as in any job or profession you hear rumors,speculation and idle talk all the time.Some of it is good accurate and fact based some of it is not.we are all passing time here,so it does no harm to read it and take it with a grain of salt.

On rare occasions I come across information that I share and on a few occasions I have been accused of most every message board crime possible(the Trey Lyles health issue a few years ago) There are fans,trolls and everything in between here on a regular basis as long as we understand that the board is an enjoyable place most of the time.

Ok, I can respect that. It really doesn't take like that much time to post on a board though. It's not like he is always here posting on a daily basis. Quite the opposite actually and he rarely post as it is. I don't think think that should discredit him as a coach simply because he is posting during the season. Nor do i think his user name should discredit him. I honestly don't know who he is or what job he has but I'm glad he stops by with his input. You can take it or leave it as you wish, that's definitely your choice. I just don't think you can simply discredit him for those reasons. He may be a troll, I don't know but it's just my opinion that he is not and it sucks when someone posts their opinion, openly states that it's just their opinion, not a fact, and is simply passing along somethings that they have heard, and then gets bashed by posters. Hes being 100% honest in what he's passing along and never claims to be fact. It's obviously within your right to take it or leave it and something I do leave and dismiss. You may be 100% right with what you say here, who knows.

Hawaii or over seas. even Canada included can only happen once every 4 years. Hope this helps.

You guys are kidding yourself if you don;t think most of if not all coaches rip these kids as much as Calipari does. I've heard Duke fans that have set right behind the Duke bench say that Coach K cusses his players as bad as anything they've ever heard before.

Coach K does have a "potty" mouth. I don't hear well and over the years have learned to read lips. Coach has the worse "Potty" mouth that I've ever seen. How he gets away with cussing the refs on the side lines I don't understand. No other coach could drop as many "F U" bombs a K does to the refs and stay in the game. There is one stander for K and Duke and another for the rest of basketball.

I'm open to hearing the other side of the argument. Just seems that most these kids have an NBA dream and that dream could certainly benefit from 2 years of training and coaching. There isn't really a wrong answer here. Not sure why you took offense.
