He looks to me to have some pretty sinewy muscle strength already.I think it is hard to judge how strong Cliff is.. to this point I think he has largely been trying to use space and leaping to block shots... maybe that is because he needs lower body strength to move people.. maybe its just a preference... he has height and length.. he will need strength vs Warnock and Garza
And the way he flew on that jam in the Sacred Heart game.. you don't even attempt that without strong legs....He looks to me to have some pretty sinewy muscle strength already.
Those players were tier one in year one and Kofi is a sophomore. Cliff has to defend them. This thread is a head scratcher to me. Why compare omoruyi to 4th and 5th year players? All things considered, he’s been very good in my opinion. Probably a bit uncomfortable offensively, but he will get there. Cliff was a big time recruit but he’s not even close to one and done level. Feel like some are holding h
Garza's first year, he averaged 12.1 pts and 6.4 boards with 1 block. He was not on the all-freshman team. Kaleb Wesson was. Those players were tier one in year one and Kofi is a sophomore. Cliff has to defend them.
Totally agree with you on the one and done.
Lol ummm no one is arguing who has a higher ceiling between Carter and CliffShaq Carter was a good role player for 2 years avg 4.0 pts, 3.1 reb., but his career high in 59 college games was 9 pts *10 rebs in *34 minutes, *13 PT in 25 minutes all his Jr. Year, 2018-19 when we had less depth. Juco. Transfer.
Cliff has had 3 games, playing 21-22 min., 14 pts 11 reb, 5 pts 3 reb, and 7 pts 7 reb. in his first 3 games as a Freshman. Consensus top 50. Ceiling much higher.
I love what Shaq did for the program. With that being said, let’s not have them in the same sentenceLol ummm no one is arguing who has a higher ceiling between Carter and Cliff
