When you have to use a multi-million dollar auditorium, you don't have many options. I can tell you, there are things going on behind the scenes that will benefit these young people more than one event. Very exciting indeed.

Lions are only ones that pop off despite the losing streak and 3A ball. You all don’t learn and shy away from playing Reidsville.
Seeing as how we have the exact same setup, it was nice being able to walk into a bathroom in the winter time and not have to scoot past the dudes trying to take a hit off a black and mild while passing the white liquor around. That's what the guy that scooted past me while I was taking a drink a few years ago said anyways.Amen on that bathroom part

I will give my pre spring CC predictions :
Of course these are always on point each year , but subject to change …
1. Crest - will be 6-0 in CC after this coming season
2. Shelby - Kirby flew in all you need to know
3. Burns- could be 2 if Shelltown has issues at QB but being the last game should benefit Sink hole High
4. KM just too young to compete with the big boys again

That is what I love about this thread….Unbiased posts day in and day out from everyone…it is refreshing
But seriously CC is the standard, and what everyone else strives to be.
If it comes down to coaching that list is mostly correct. I’d swap 2 and 3 but that’s me.
They’re doing all they can to make KM into a winner by acquiring talent. That’s good. Because Moe hasn’t coached up NO ONE!
Kirby aint the only one flying in, Bama was there a couple days ago..
Shelby goes as far as the QB (whoever that will be) can adjust... Talent on both sides in droves....
Crest will find a work horse running back and Coach will line up in the dang wildcat and he will bowl over everyone
Burns like Shelby will go as their new QB will take them ... They got Max ...enough said
KM is the scary dark horse... Bunch of talent remaining and they've bought a couple future stars LOL..... Ole Moe better put up this year if they gonna do anything....
Defense will be the stars of the county early on as we all gotta find a QB...they will be a lot of running backs early on We got a monster in the making, Burns has a stud (No clue who Crest and KM has returning)

Crest fans can be notoriously thin skinned so I will say this as gently as possible, I believe Crest lose multiple games in the County. In my opinion Burns and KM are better across the board than Crest 1-22 but that could change later. I also give Crest points for coaching with Barnes and their DC.
I think Shelby has more higher end talent than Crest but Crest has way more depth than Shelby so that game will be a toss up again. Best two teams in the county are Burns and Kings Mountain. I would say Crest is #3 but Shelby will be desperate to get a ‘W’ on Crest this season. In a loaded county season, all four teams will make deep runs in the playoffs this season. I think Burns and Shelby will get to the state championship game if they can hold off Cramer and Lincolnton in the west. If Crest gets back to the title game they will win it again but the 5A west is a tough road.
You may be right but you don't know. You're just guessing. I mean let's go back and look at your predictions every year. You've been wrong and on the wrong side of things for a minute. And thin skinned is your team getting dragged 70 to 0 and YOU not showing back up for a few weeks on here to take your come up'ins.

Burns and KM the best two? In what world is this in? Crest's defense will be very good. The DL should be elite.
