Interesting he got fired. Based on his resume', it looks like he has been just as successful as Ferentz. Guessing he's gone because he isn't nearly as nice as Kirk is.

The women’s team have had better attendance than the men’s team for the past 2 or three years and Caitlin didn’t even play for them this season.

It showed up in NIL contributions as well, The men’s program is near the bottom of the conference in NIL donations and the Women’s BB program is near the top.

Yeah we gotta quit giving extensions for mediocre results. That’s why we keep getting in this bind. Vdoub has laid it out pretty good. In order to be good, you gotta give a **** and make sound decisions. Our admin doesn’t seem to be doing this. Gotta be honest. I’m not confident moving forward with Fred.

His buyout is 4.6 million that’s basically 1years salary for Fred . Minnesotas buyout on their coach was 3 million. Easier to fire coaches in those situations. Some day hopefully Nebraska learns their lesson on the contracts of these coaches. Even Rhule I don’t give a fk if he makes the dam playoffs next year he doesn’t need any extension he has 6 years left that’s enough.

Yep even if the results are above average make the coach string a couple years together before thinking extensions .

Murray brothers were 3 star recruits. Garza was the 104th ranked recruit as a 4 star. I’ll give you that losing to 12th seed Richmond in the first round of the NCAA was a bad game.

All I’m saying is I don’t see high odds that the school does better than Fran. I’m not even saying Fran is great, but he did generally overachieve considering the sub par recruiting, which is clearly capped at least in part by the school and its funding/support.

Better? No, probably not better. But sometimes I guess you just need "new blood" even if the results are kind of the same.
