Have talent athletically but not basketball players. Sad that Taplin has been such little help. We needed some help for this team in recruiting and did not get it. We may make a game out of this yet. Cinn is not that great and we had a bad offensive 1st half even for us.

Tulsa's perimeter D is just awful. They don't even put up their arms. Weird.

Horse **** basketball. Just horse **** basketball.

That was dumb of me to think we might get the lead down to single digits. What was I thinking.

When you have a D1 player miss a point blank layup... you just need to shake your head, wave the white flag and move on...

We are literally being knocked the crap down. Not that I think it's dirty or fould being missed but we are just physically getting tossed around.

Probably the worst I've ever seen this group of players play outside of the SEOSU game. Actually embarrassed sitting here watching it with an OU fan

I have to think Haith knew these seniors were not gonna get it done this year and is looking to retool. How else can one explain sitting TK this year. That was one incredibly odd move; and telling.

Stinking it up again. I do not understand how we can actually be worse this year having lost nobody.

drboobay.... Tulsa stunk last year until conference play. Right? Right. So.... they get into conference and it took a 1/2 season in conference for teams to figure out Shaq could not hit 3s. The 2nd 1/2 of conference play was a bit different for Tulsa. The AAC is actually better this year too.

It's concerning how we have regressed. There are times we play well and can compete, just haven't for 40 minutes.

Where is Kajon Brown? Don't see him on the bench.

Is it just me or does it seem that TU came out onto the court expecting to lose this game.

We play great when the opposing team shoots 30% and plays perimeter defense.

Stick 4 guys under the basket and make >40% of your shots and we lose.

Does a flagrant 2 mean Dre misses Tuesday's game too?

BS play on Dre's part. Get boxed out 3 times in a row and give up an offensive board, about to get beat for a bucket so you hammer on Clark's face

This team was done officially when we lost to ORU. Give Haith 1 more year to see if his new recruits provide an upswing, then go out and get someone who can actually coach and RECRUIT.

Anyone who watched even snipits of Clarckson's senior year at Mizzou is getting flashbacks. That senior team just collapsed much like this one. Haith's defensive philosophy is crap, and his offense is streaky.

I'd like to see Kajon Brown, Taplin, and Birt play a lot of minutes from this point forward. It doesn't look like Birt is significantly better than what we already have. I'd like to see what we have in Brown and Taplin.

Not sure what happened to TU defensively from last year...Perhaps everyone else in the AAC upgraded...could be the case.

Think that changed a couple years ago and now just ejection with no further suspension

Teichmann with his 9 points and 8 rebounds would be a welcome addition to this team...

That's what it looked like to me. Reminded me of playing good teams on the road in the Wojcik era. Play scared for first 10-15 minutes & fall way behind. Then play decent later, but never threaten to really make it a game.

Taplin hasn't played enough this year, it's time to let him play and develop the rest of this year. We'll need him to be ready next year

I switched back from the Pigs and K-State football game and saw Wright walking to the locker room. Hope they can keep it under 30. Back to football :)

Besides lack of shooting, perimeter defense, and lack of basketball IQ....the biggest issue right now is lack of confidence. We have zero. Last year we played with much more confidence and it made up for some of our shortcomings.

When your big men combine for 1 point and 8 fouls you are in deep trouble!!!!

The main thing we lost on this team is TK, by coach's choice. I suspect that is just enough of a loss of toughness and strength inside to lose a couple of extra games for us. Maybe enough to drop us out of the NIT.
