My gosh, this fanbase was starving for a recruit to commit. This thread is longer than when we got KAT.
Year 1 I don’t think they really quit, they had a few stinkers where they didn’t play very hard. Mainly those early December losses. Outside that they lost due to injury more than anything. We already went over this. Year 2 was a mess, we are talking about year 1 and in year 1, we saw a team that absolutely did not quit, especially in the Gonzaga game.
I don't know if you were in MSG for the Ohio St game. But I was. They definitely quit. I don't know if you were in Bridgestone for the SEC tournament. But I was. I don't know if you could call the Alabama game quitting since they never started playing it. But it was an embarrassment.Year 1 I don’t think they really quit, they had a few stinkers where they didn’t play very hard. Mainly those early December losses. Oh I know he “wants “ to go . He “wanted “ to go last year. Just depends on if it’s worth taking a chance or making guaranteed millions for another year.I think he goes, he certainly looks like a pro with his shooting and mid range game. He has great size and some team could make good use of him. Makes no sense why they don’t want him to me. That said, I hope they don’t and he return on a massive NIL deal. Gimme MOM 2 years please!
I can’t belive their is not one pro team that isn’t itching to try and work his shooting into their lineup. With his size I could see him being Klay Thompson like, without the defense.Oh I know he “wants “ to go . He “wanted “ to go last year. Just depends on if it’s worth taking a chance or making guaranteed millions for another year.
THink ofIt would be unreal to have a frontcourt that consisted of top 10 guys over 7' tall and highly skilled.
At 7'5", Cherif is a massive game changer
Shawn Bradley was 7’6” and 235.I checked and saw he was listed at 250#. I wonder what's a good weight for a 7'5" college BB player? Not a lot of data to have a definitive answer.

It matters because we can’t hire 3 new people every single year. Yeah it’s great that it got us a guy but it’s not sustainable.Who TF cares who he has to hire to get recruits? It literally doesn't matter how as long as he gets them.. Swear this board is full of dumb@$$ retards..
Bet?It matters because we can’t hire 3 new people every single year. Yeah it’s great that it got us a guy but it’s not sustainable.
Oh no!! We got a top recruit but it won’t last forever!! Thanks for the sobering post. We were celebrating waaaaay too much.It matters because we can’t hire 3 new people every single year. Yeah it’s great that it got us a guy but it’s not sustainable.
Yea aboya having a connection to the African kids is a horrible thing to have on staff. You hire assistants to recruit. Him and Mo are doing that.It matters because we can’t hire 3 new people every single year. Yeah it’s great that it got us a guy but it’s not sustainable.
Is Mark Pope finding UK basketball’s recruiting sweet spot? | Lexington Herald LeaderThis is awesome! His first five star and by all accounts an amazing player. So happy for this team! Let's all hope the next one doesn't take another three years.
Maybe he’ll come next year with Shertz.I’d love to get Cream Abdul Jabar to play for us!!
