Did they see a cop got shot by the terrorist? Did they see that the terrorist got shot also in the shoulder and not just in the leg? This all happened because the terrorist was able to get a drop on the cops.

Did Roof get out of his car with a gun in his hand when they apprehended him? Did he make any threatening moves towards the police when they stopped him?

Did the guy in Tulsa?

We can do this all day ... and it gets nowhere.

That's not what blacks are seeing. They're seeing Tulsa, a black unarmed guy gets gunned down. They're seeing Charlotte, a disabled (unarmed in their opinion) black guy gets gunned down, both situations first action was shoot to kill. Then they see a "white" terrorist get shot in the arms/legs to keep him alive. They see Dylann Roof get taken away in handcuffs without being shot. They see 5 and 6 year old black boys walking down the street get stopped by the cops and their names taken.

They want a fair system, and we do not have one right now.

Blacks are committing a disproportionate number of crimes, per capita, let's have a discussion about their lack of respect for the lives of others and their property. Those black boys are running the drugs for the big boys because the kids cannot be put in jail because of the laws that prevent juvenile lockups. Roof could have gone down fighting but he didn't and surrendered. Too bad they didn't shoot him on the spot. We whites would not have rioted over that piece of trash. I'm sure that it's hard growing up black, if blacks in your area let you grow up at all, but they can make it better for themselves by themselves. Same as my grandfather did who was Italian in the coal fields. Blacks want to blame other people for their problems and their problems start at home and they are entirely responsible for a lot of their problems. Taking money from whitey and giving it to them so they don't have to work isn't the way to solve this problem. It has only made it worse.

No and I said it was different in above postings...but the media and others will attempts to link the Tulsa shooting with shootings where individuals had weapons and/or made threatening moves towards police. There is a difference and they should be looked at differently.

Kaepernick's point is, we have a problem. That problem is when police officers gun down a black man when he is unarmed, running away from the officer and is not a threat (North Charleston SC) or unarmed walking away from the officers with his hands up (Tulsa, OK), both incidents on clear video tape.

That officer is in jail. Where was Kap when those police officers were gunned down? I say, let the blacks police themselves. No more govt assistance to those areas. Let them raise their own funds and pay for their own govt.

That's why they use the phrase "Black Lives Matter", because in light of these events, people seem to get more upset publicly about a second string QB not standing for the national anthem then these events.

How many other incidents have there been where there was no gun and the police planted them?
Then there is no video, and no conflicting testimony because the other person is dead. We've started seeing this recently because of the omnipresence of cellphones and the like, but how many have there been that we never saw?

Is it possible, at all, that the black communities have been seeing this their whole lives?

I agree ... which is why the media shouldn't be leading this conversation.
But as soon as somebody does try to the lead the conversation they are immediately discounted.

This is on my timeline from what I would call a respected friend. It saddens me.

I had a friend sell his nice truck because he was getting stopped so often for being black.

Picture wasn't working. Responsible guy, works every day, coaches. He's almost to the point of terrified that if he gets pulled over he needs to decide if he needs to comply, or defend himself. That's the image, the narrative, that is in the black community. That needs to change.

I also think that tension he's feeling is then being transferred to many law enforcement officers as well, which then only heightens the tension between the two.

I wonder how many black people get pulled over every day and nothing happens? MSM doesn't have what it takes to delve into it...they take the easy way out and the more sensational story...and that is what people tend to follow.

And the one in Tulsa is on paid administrative leave. And the cop that choked Eric Garner to death got off with no charges whatsoever. 1 out of 3 aint bad.

Eric Garner had an arrest record longer than your arm. He had been arrested many times. He was fat, 350 lbs, and not in good health. He resisted arrest and it took 4 officers to bring him down. I believe that the autopsy showed he had other health problems that contributed to his death. Mr garner should had done what he had done many times, taken the arrest and gotten our on bail and started doing illegal things again. You guys on the left talk about what happens when an officer does something wrong and seem to apply it to everybody. Garner, Brown, and many others did not lead exemplary lives. They were thugs.

That justifies the assassination of the police officers in Dallas and Baton Rouge? If these ball players want to make a difference, go to the inner city and talk about both sides. If they don't, have the cities quit policing the black neighbors hoods. That will take care of the problems.

Narrative: unarmed black guy choked to death. It doesn't matter the truth, it matters what the narrative is.

Again, he was told he was going to be arrested for breaking the law, it was common to him since he was a thug. Why fight? He was also unhealthy which contributed to his death. His own daughter alluded to his arrest record. There are other examples out there better than a criminal like Garner.

So you're saying the truth doesn't matter...who doesn't it matter to?

Any black man listening to the media the first day, then cuts out when they state the circumstances(truth) days later. Just like Charlotte, the guy didn't have a gun. It doesn't matter how many times they say he did at this time.

I don't give a damn if he had an arrest record as long as my arm. He wasn't violent and wasn't threatening officers on the day he was murdered.

So if it the truth doesn't to any black man...why should the truth matter to any white man regarding the fact that not all black men are thugs? See the issue here...no one is listening to the truth.

He was given an legal command by police officers. His actions led to his death. Get off your high horse. He was a thug and his arrest record proves it. He committed suicide by not doing what the police officers asked him to do which was put his hands behind his back. Actually, what they did was kinder than a taser or a gun. How about blaming the mayor for having him arrested for selling losies. I guess Debieso didn't want to lose tax dollars for his city.

I don't know why they don't go to the taser more often in situations like that and in Tulsa (actually one did use the taser in Tulsa I believe).

Tasers are and have been quite ineffective. We had a shooting here in Roanoke where they hit the teenager,17, and carrying a air soft gun without the orange cap, several times and it did not work. It was cold that night and he had a lot of clothes on. They showed a video of it and a track of how long they followed the suspect and they had to follow him for over a mile with the police spot light on him. Why he never dropped the gun, who knows.

He was resisting which was what led to his death. Had he not resisted, he would still be alive. With that said, the illegal choke hold was also a contributor, but bottom line, he should not have resisted.

I get your point about planting evidence and outright lying to either cover something up or strengthen their case. I'm in complete agreement with it. From the onset of the discussion I've said the body cams would be of bigger benefit to the police than it would uncover some massive conspiracy to target blacks.

I posed this question previously. What is the end state of the BLM? More to the point, what is the objective? It will never be 100% full proof, but what I'm asking is for specific changes they want to see made that would make them content? It's always very nebulous when I hear the discussion.

Wasn't there a case recently of a cops body camera "coincidentally" turning off right before he did something?

I do think it's the beginning of a solution though. It will be beneficial to everybody. I also recognize that cops will get accused of things they didn't do also, so it will help them there.

As for BLM ... I'm with you. I haven't seen any real proposed solutions or anything from that group. However, is it their responsibility to come up with the solutions regarding corrupt and violent cops? Shouldn't that be on the police forces themselves to better self-regulate? They probably don't have a solution because there isn't really an easy one that's going to come to mind. Pretty much the same with gun control ... there isn't really a good solution.

There have been a few instances of cops starting sports leagues or coaching teams for the kids in the neighborhoods in which they patrol. As far as I can tell, these efforts have been pretty successful.

It comes down to everybody seeing people as human. Not black, not a uniform, as human. How do we penetrate the us vs. them attitudes that we have now? These are the kinds of cultural changes that take a generation. I will admit that the BLM movement seems to have done nothing but exacerbate the us vs. them attitude ... hopefully somebody important enough to that group will recognize that.

They are doing the body cam's here for every uniformed officer to the tune of 85 million over a 10 year term , which too me seems like a very reasonable expenditure. I have several friends on the Toronto force that really support the idea....what that support demonstrates I'm not entirely certain. The vibe I get is that it's at least a method to add some clarity to the situation, rather than to absolve them or a perp of culpability....its a start at least.

why was the suv stopped in the middle of the road ?

why was the suspect walking back to his vehicle ?

why did the woman shoot him ?

I think the only tape they haven't shown is that of the officer that shot him. I believe one of the cops tasered him right before or at the same time he was shot. The helicopter was in a good view but then they circled and the victim was out of the view of their camera. You'd think nowadays that the video would be much cleared as well.

Yea, I'm not going to do that. I'll be honest. I'm enjoying my life on my terms with what I have left. I already paid my debt in full for this country.

These are interesting discussions but it doesn't affect me, really none of it does, either side, so I just don't care enough to take any kind of action for or against.

I thought he was having car trouble, hence the reason why his vehicle was in the middle of the road.

Law enforcement needs to come up with some out of the box thinking for getting unarmed people that are resisting under control. I may get blasted for this but I think that a properly designed net that could be thrown or projected over the target individual might do the trick. Many of the cops get really worked up during takedowns and the aggression just keeps building up until their anger overcomes good judgement. We also have to understand that many of those in law enforcement are not the sharpest knives in the drawer to begin with. I've seen firsthand how dumb some of them are.
With that being said.......Kaeperdick is still a total ******* who is only making thing worse.
