Give up a pick to get off of Lexi or Mo's contract and hope the other one gets better than being almost useless in the offseason.
That's the big question.
They've done alright around the edges and drafting but a lot of their big contract moves have not panned out.
I don't think adding 1 player is going to change much. You have 3 star players that want to live on the 3 point line and have serious defensive limitations. It's great Boston has added the 3 pointer to her bag but it kills us inside leaving Timpson who is not a post to handle the other teams bigs. jmo
Don’t know who you pick on that one. Lexi’s career is on the downslide now since it seems she more cares about making money through her side hustles. Mo is a backup making starter money.
I think Boston was on the perimeter a lot this year for a couple reasons.
1) Billings was a bust and they moved to KK who I would bet made less than 5 shots outside the paint all season. So they needed Aliyah on the perimeter to free up spacing for Kelsey snd Caitlin.
2) When Aliyah was in the paint on offense she really struggled finishing. So I'm wondering if she hasn't been getting her normal lift due to her nagging injury.
It's tough. Mo made the USA qualifying team this spring so I assume she still has some value but CC giving up on her halfway through the season hurts that. I would still try and trade her, hope Timpson keeps getting better, and lock Lexi in a gym until she gets her shot back.
Bad timing since A'ja just torched them but either Timpson or Boston.
Idk who third is but it's a distant third.
I was thinking Timpson also. Her biggest issue is getting stuck against players she has no business defending. She was a project and is still a work in progress but I like her. If they could trade a couple albatross contracts if they included a player...to me everyone is on the table.
Every time she handled the ball in the half court it looked like a turnover waiting to happen. She's gotten very sloppy with the ball.
Did CC and SW get into a shouting match when CC was pulled early in the 3rd quarter?
She's not strong enough to bang on the inside yet. But she could be a cheat code on defense if she continues to get better at it.
Sure looking like it. Not a championship contender for sure. Roster is unbalanced, with too many players not complementing one another. Too many holes defensively. Good enough to get in the playoffs, but a long way off from real contention.
Maybe CC when she tries.

It’s not the coach. It’s the roster. It’s a reluctance to acknowledge the BIg 3 limitations relative to the other teams in the league.
The sticking points are the way this roster is constructed, the way she utilizes them, and a reluctance to adjust her coaching style while those players under her employ. It's not just the Big 3.
I don’t know. It was the Big 3 2 years ago with a different supporting cast. And SW did get a limited team last year deeper in the playoffs.
The better teams in the WNBa seem more versatile at key positions and are much deeper.
The roster construction is bad, but the coaching hasn’t been good.
Early in the season they were losing games and the excuse was that White is trying things out and learning how the team can work together. But as the season went on they haven’t adapted and continue having the dumbest defensive philosophy and also waste one of the most dominant pick and roll combos in the league because it is “Predicatable”. That isn’t on the roster, that is on the coaches. If it wasn’t for the heroics of KM and CC carrying this team through much of the season they don’t make the playoffs.
Hence, the roster construction. Clark is supposed to be the floor general, running the offense. And sure, she has lots of turnovers. However, as highlighted today by players standing around when she has to pick up her dribble, is unacceptable. And as far as the other two of "The Big Three", their performance was subpar as well. The Fever have performed well versus lesser teams this year despite some hiccups along the way, but a lot was exposed today, and the front office and coaching staff have many things to answer for. Amber Cox put this team together at the behest of the head coach IMO.
They also have dominant posts like Stewart and Wilson. Boston is obviously very good but she’s a couple of rungs lower on offense and defense. None of the big 3 get a favorable whistle. It’s a recipe for failure.
