Let's see if it's rescinded.Btw Reese beat Clark to 8 techs.
I’ll claim this one about bringing her up first.

Let her have the win just this once.Let's see if it's rescinded.![]()
True. Pretty remarkable to take that into account, and her injury, and minute restriction, and yet the first EVER 800+ 300+ season in history of the league. I guess she recovered nicely.....1) Aja is one of the best offensive players in the game.
2) CC is one of the best offensive players in the game.
3) Aja is one of the best defensive players in the game.
4) CC is a below average defensive player in the game.
5) CC's #s against the 3 best teams she faces: 17 PPG, 44% FG, 26% 3, 7.5 APG, 5.2 TOPG
6) Aja's #s against the 3 best teams she faces: 24.1 PPG, 11 RPG, 48% FG
7) This season Aja has a higher FG%, higher 3PT%, higher FT%, higher eFG%, higher PER, higher W/S.
CC's slow start to this season is obviously a reason for some of these #s, but it is a season long award, not just a random period of time.
Cute. What do you think Clarks numbers would be in an 82 games plus playoffs season, since you want to go there.........
A LOT of NBA players have done that, so not really a record.
Who's?Btw Reese beat Clark to 8 techs.
I’ll claim this one about bringing her up first.
He's just playing his usual dumb A-- because I reminded him that Clark did in FACT break the mens all time scoring record (even though she can't "officially" ever hold the record because she's not a man). Pretty much apples to watermelons though since the Fever have played 40-41 games and the NBA guys play 82+ the playoffs, But @Legend12 has to be that guy, so.....Shirley you are joking, right?
Just to clarify, I said she BROKE the record, not that she owns it. Check Wikipedia if you disagree......I thought it was funny af bc of all the people saying Clark owns the men’s ncaa record too.
I don’t have any issue with the claim. What she did was impressive. I just thought the point he made in addition to the earlier discourse was funny.Just to clarify, I said she BROKE the record, not that she owns it. Check Wikipedia if you disagree......
This year reminds me of her junior year at Iowa. The longer the year went on, the more dominant, confident and team chemistry was developed and generated. I think the Fever play for a championship this season, if they are healthy heading into the post season. We shall see.Ya she’s having a great season now. Not in the first 30 days.
Come on, people.
Another first for her in their ongoing competition.....Btw Reese beat Clark to 8 techs.
I’ll claim this one about bringing her up first.
YOU are gigging people for 'glazing" her. She is putting together one of the greatest seasons EVER by any guard ,and already setting records that no player has done in their entire career, And this after that "slow first 30 days" Worth mentioning I'd say.....Ya she’s having a great season now. Not in the first 30 days.
Come on, people.
That’s not what I’m gigging people for glazing her for.YOU are gigging people for 'glazing" her. They have a much better record when Clark has more than four turnovers than they do when she has four or less. High risk high reward. One of the criteria for the award, and please correct me if I'm in error, is how valuable the player is to the team and how a team performs. Clark aces that test. However, the naysayers will always disagree by pointing out the turnovers. But a player who generates the amount of points that she does, has to receive heavy consideration. The Fever have a winning record, and Clark is responsible for helping to generate those wins in a large way. Not saying she'll win, but what she does when she's healthy, and being allowed to play with pace and orchestrate the offense, she's right there with the frontrunners.
Good thing the voters look at the END results. Fair? That’s not what I’m gigging people for glazing her for.
Look, the whole thing started when I was accused of not putting her in the top 3 after her slow start. After the first 30 days she was not in the top 3 no matter how you cut it.
Now she is. She’s likely even top 2, but not at the end of May.
First off Nike said that not Clark, and that was after she broke the women's record first, and yes she OWNS that.......
Sure but the accusation was never about MVP. It was just about power ranking players at that point in time.Good thing the voters look at the END results. Fair?![]()
BEST time of year, and the fall weather to boot!Only 4 regular season games left before the playoffs. NFL regular season opens soon. Hawks football next week, and then college basketball in Oct for the ladies, and the men in Nov. Good times.
He's right. She did start slow. The minutes restriction and CC trusting her body had alot to do with it. Let's let it play out. That’s not what I’m gigging people for glazing her for.

I do not understand why my take is so controversial.
Agree, but my point here is that we still have 4 games left before they vote on MVP. Just saying that the writers and broadcasters will be looking at the players' entire "Body of work."Sure but the accusation was never about MVP. It was just about power ranking players at that point in time.
In the first five games she was averaging 24 and 9…is that slow? After 10 games she was averaging almost 20 and 8. Yet she wasn’t in the top 10???He's right. She did start slow. The minutes restriction and CC trusting her body had alot to do with it. Let's let it play out.
If Clark continues bau AND has a game like tonight in one of the games against the Lynx, I think she could make a pretty compelling argument.Agree, but my point here is that we still have 4 games left before they vote on MVP. Just saying that the writers and broadcasters will be looking at the players' entire "Body of work."
In my best Nancy Kerrigan voice, "why"?
Is this just a dumb joke cause you can't be serious..
A LOT of NBA players have done that, so not really a record.
Didn't watch the game. Should it have been rescinded? Clarks was a no brainer......
