Announced attendance (total tickets sold & distributed) for last night's game was 16,018 (17,274 is the capacity). Guessing actual butts in the seats (scanned tickets) was a LOT less than 16,000.

Fran bringing back the "whack call" controversy a year later with a little dash of transphobia sprinkled in. That algorithm sure knows how to get him worked up on a Sunday.

I am beginning to think you, @AFM22 and @Moral are all the same poster.

You all show up at the same time, liking each other's nonsense.

Slow morning on the Clemson Off Topic board?

Hell CC is polarizing on an Iowa message board. No shock it’s ramped up times a thousand out in the Twitter and WNBA zeitgeist.

Im becoming increasingly pessimistic this ends well for anyone, especially CC. Like can you imagine another 13-15 years of this? Her career may take an odd turn at some point.

Yep... It's becoming a self fulfilling prophecy.

Hate and divide and create a negative situation at every turn.

Then at the end you can say "see she didn't turn out that great, we had reasons to doubt her impact".

Her drive to prove doubters wrong is the only reason she MIGHT exceed expectations and overcome all the hate.

As much as I'd like to see her give the WNBA the middle finger and see the WNBA return to an afterthought.... I want her to overcome all this sh*t.... play great, win championships.... Win an Olympic gold.

But something has to change.... Thought it would already after her being out most of last year with injury, but we are back in the same sh*t this year

Look for the Sky to beat the Aces for no reason tonight. The WNBA is in their portion of the season where they're having their bottom teams beat their top teams so they can say to anyone whether they want to listen or not, "See? SEE? We have parity in our league too!!!"

When Caitlin played at Iowa, the entire coaching staff and team had her back. Now she gets very little support from the Fever FO, coaches and teammates.

Besides Lexie, Sophie, and Myisha, who sticks up for her? Even AB and Kelsey now seem indifferent.

The haters have convinced the weak minded that to support CC is to dishonor black and lesbian players, past and current. This is a lie, of course.

The Fever organization consists of top-to-bottom cowards that either believe the lie or are just chickensh*ts. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

Well, they are in Indiana, we can expect them to have much self respect like Iowans are raised to have.

Leaving the W would satisfy a lot of us and hurt them financially, but I'm sure Caitlin wants to compete here in the US. If they want to make the league a thugfest or put out beautiful basketball is probably okay with her either way, BUT it has to be regulated equitably. There's so much video evidence now she's being discriminated against seems like there could be legal grounds for her to go after the league/commissioner/certain refs for some kind of breech of contract.

The black women in the ESPN studio were trying to downplay the closed fist to the throat. They were saying that the still image looked much worse than what actually happened.
