CC needs to be much more efficient. Much more
I like Mitchell, but if she gets the ball in her hands the rest of the team should just go to the other end of the floor and get a head start on defense.

She was 10-28 from the field. It’s awful.
Fun ending, but the Fever are just mixing in too much bad with the good to finish these games. KM missed a layup and two FTs. That was the difference.

White wanted to be top 5 in defense, that's her goal. Fever destroyed on rebounds 44 to 29.
Probably should sign another guard to a developmental contract.
It’s manageable if you play a certain style. But White just isn’t comfy coaching that way.

Shot poorly in the first half, bounced back in the second…that’s called basketball. Every player would love to be more efficient and shoot 80% every game, but that’s not how it works. Mitchell was 10-25, I’ll bet she wishes she was more efficient as well. It’s tough to shoot well inside against a much bigger team

The other issue is outside of Hull, none of the bench players can score.

White plays Fran D. Anybody that drives the lane the Fever player leaves the corner shooter alone to guard in the paint. CC , Lexi and Sophie all leave the corner open. Has to be coaching when they all do it.
Fever fouled more as Washington had 11 more FT attempts. Shot FTs poorly at 68%.

And Hull isn’t that good either. She’s scored 10 points in three games. And none of the starters can score much either except for Boston sometimes.

There was literally no post game. 58-28 in the paint. Citron played amazingly and she is great, no doubt, but Caitlin was playing with a huge handicap. It’s not hard to understand. It was like under brian we couldn’t throw the ball and had to rely on the ground game and defense. Not the receivers’ fault.

You’re shaming yourself. You can’t shoot 28 times in a game… and make 10. It’s awful on a multitude of counts. Focus on what CC can control. It wasn’t good.
CC was a plus 14 on the court. The entire starting lineup besides her was in the red. And she got no help from her bigs at all tonight. Not sure what you want her to do when basically it’s her and Mitchell are the only players who can score with Boston being hurt or whatever is wrong with her. Washington bigs ate us alive.
Missing wide open threes has nothing to do with being efficient or inefficient.
CC had a really rough shooting start for the first three quarters but a vast majority of her shots were good looks that just didn't go down.
