Athletic Department invited CBS to film for live reactions during the Selection Show. Must be feeling pretty confident
CBS @ RU Tomorrow

I assume they figure it's good publicity whether we make it or not.
Hopefully not another Rob Hodgson deer in the headlights moment tomorrow
Kiss of death
I heard Sweet Pea will make an appearance also

Which Holloway ? St. Peter’s coach ? I don’t think our president has basketball committee pull
The RAC will be hosting high school championships Sunday afternoon. The Rutgers team probably will be at the practice facility.
There is no way that they would want dejected faces splashed across the screen. It would suck for the players and could also be used against us in recruiting.
CBS should send palm to piscataway
Geoff billet was crying.
That day we had like a 20 % chance of getting in. Tomorrow I say 50/50 . But I believe Dayton is our destiny
Bring the Pea and sacrifice him to the basketball gods. It's his time and the least that he could do for his favorite team.
I have a different opinion on where you can send him
Rutgers wouldn't be having CBS here unless they were very confident about their chances. We are in. They know it. We all know it. Can't wait to see them celebrate
I believe CBS is for all intensive purposes “ setting us up” on national tv. Can imagine the negativism and possible rejection the team would suffer. We know we definitely belong but does the committee?
They should send him to the unemployment line. Great job with the CollegeRPI site in 2001. It’s 2022.
Not a good idea IMO
Too close
At least we aren't having a big to do like SMU had a few years ago when they were left out
Great opportunity to"rub it in" and go over and over on that Laf. Loss. Stay away.
Not to be a ball buster… but I’m an English guy .. it’s for all “intents and purpose”.
lol, RU has no clue …this is for publicity either way
Minnesota AD is on the Committee. I would think it's fairly likely the B1G knows whether RU is in or not... Highly doubt they'd let us embarrass ourselves on national TV... Just a thought
This is such an odd take.
It would be horribleee for publicity to see us get left out on national TV and the players crushed. You only do this if you're a B1G team if you are confident you are getting selected
Inviting the cameras and not getting in would be a disaster, not good publicity.
I hope you're right but I'm not betting on it. Who would be more gracious and complimentary of the league and committee in a diss than Pike?
Great teams, great coaches, great committee, great field. Thanks Rutgers Nation.

You are going to see Rutgers in as an 11 seed. All of this panic by the metrics guys is overblown
This happens every year .
Would be an interesting way for geo and Harper to end career
every year, there are cameras on teams that don’t get in. Haven’t you watched Selection Sunday in the past? I disagree that it’s bad publicity. To those that don’t pay attention as closely, they get to find out that we were a legit contender for the tourney. Not every recruit is as plugged in as we are…
Can’t possibly know at this point with our metrics and bid thieves still around
