The RAC will be hosting high school championships Sunday afternoon.The Rutgers team probably will be at the practice facility.
There is no way that they would want dejected faces splashed across the screen. It would suck for the players and could also be used against us in recruiting.

Rutgers wouldn't be having CBS here unless they were very confident about their chances. We are in. They know it. We all know it. Can't wait to see them celebrate
I believe CBS is for all intensive purposes “ setting us up” on national tv. Can imagine the negativism and possible rejection the team would suffer. We know we definitely belong but does the committee?

Minnesota AD is on the Committee. I would think it's fairly likely the B1G knows whether RU is in or not... Highly doubt they'd let us embarrass ourselves on national TV... Just a thought
This is such an odd take.
It would be horribleee for publicity to see us get left out on national TV and the players crushed. You only do this if you're a B1G team if you are confident you are getting selected
Inviting the cameras and not getting in would be a disaster, not good publicity.
I hope you're right but I'm not betting on it. Who would be more gracious and complimentary of the league and committee in a diss than Pike?

every year, there are cameras on teams that don’t get in. Haven’t you watched Selection Sunday in the past? I disagree that it’s bad publicity. To those that don’t pay attention as closely, they get to find out that we were a legit contender for the tourney. Not every recruit is as plugged in as we are…
