Tge thing about it is he is making it personal. Go back and find the post where I was disrespectful to CC and post it so everyone to see. All I have said and will continue to say is that if they think Jacksonville is coming to not play they are in for a rude awakening. We know their history and what they have done. None of that matters Saturday. If they are who they say they are they don’t need anyone to co-sign for them. You got the best defense in the state regardless of classification then bring that Saturday. I guess we will see. No need to talk about. He gets all frustrated like she is on their cycle if you don’t agree with what she has to say.

Exactly...anything can happen especially at the high school level. But you can’t tell any of these self proclaimed gurus that. Trust and believe Jacksonville knows that it will be a tall order to come out on top. They know who CC is and what they have accomplished. I have said that numerous times on here. I will say it like I have been the whole time. CC will have to play a complete football on Saturday to win. Jacksonville will have to play a complete football to win period! Whichever team does will get the ship. Does not matter what happened last year last week during the regular season. Who you beat in the playoffs this year last year 5 years ago. How many you beat them by. How many yards you ran for or how many D1 QB your defense shut down. All that matters is what happens on Saturday morning between these CC Cougars and these Jacksonville Cardinals. All the other stuff does not matter. That is what these folks can’t seem to accept.
And that’s not a problem. Everyone is to root for who they want to. I hope it’s a injury free game for both sides and let’s let the kids decide it on the field not a bunch of adults on a message board.I’m with you, brother. All i'm doing is pointing out the fact the Cards aren't a pushover 2a team and the fact they won't resort to a pass first offense to win. Sorry, but nobody who plays for, coaches, or supports JHS is going into this game expecting to lose. If that's what you expect, you're a fool.
I think it was Honda’s “go back to the base” post that took this up a notch. I know you served Honda, thank you, but I read that post as a bit of a slight or dig too.
Jacksonville was a 4A team to recon with in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. If I recall correctly, when Northside opened just down the street from Jacksonville High the football program dipped.
I don’t blame the posters for being excited. It has been awhile and I am happy for the program and area. Enjoy it, you’ve had one more week of excitement that every fan hopes for. You have opportunity- and no one can ask for more.
Can Jacksonville win - sure they can. I hope they do. It’s just that the game this weekend will look “ugly” and nothing like the games you have seen the past few weeks. More than likely the possessions will be limited so 30 or 40 points is off the table.

That’s what they seem to want. We don’t have the right in their eyes to say that we will show up and play. We can’t say that we stand a chance against them. We are supposed to agree with what they say. If not your being disrespectful. I have said from jump that we respect them and what they have accomplished.
