Not at all. I just consider the source of yalls comments. I was getting bored but couldn’t figure out why. I know now. We spent the whole week before the finals hearing the same stuff from the Havelock. I understand now. You can mock other people’s screen names, but I can’t mention the base. All I said was to go back to the base and do drills. Is that what the marines or any branch of the military do? Yes it is. I didn’t demean what they do. I didn’t make fun of the base or the branch of service. So don’t be a baby and say I dissed the military. If you can’t handle what I said, you have no business being on this board. Now back to football. Is CC beatable? Of course they are. They’ve lost this year. Every team is beatable. Can anything happen with high school kids? Of course it can. But you have to look at probabilities. What is the probability of Jacksonville rushing for even 5 yards per carry? Not that much. What’s the probability of Catholic shutting out or totally shutting down the Cardinals? Again not so much. You get to this point all the teams are good. Make fun of CC’s schedule all you want. But you’all see no 2A teams in that schedule. You’ll see probably the best private team in the state that would handle most teams in NC, including Jacksonville, in Charlotte Christian. You’ll see 4A teams along with 3A teams, like Weddington, who’s playing this weekend as well with only one loss (20-0) to CC. Is Jacksonville good? Of course they are. They’re playing Saturday. But don’t think they’re going to come into that game with CC and average 9 yards a carry. They’ll have some success running the ball. But it won’t be continued success the whole game. CC? They’re not the strictly run the ball team they’ve been in days gone by. They mix in the pass very well. Is CC’s defense the best in the state across classifications? Not sure about that. But having seen them, I believe it’s a top five defense and certainly the top defense in 3A.
