Whenever I have to speak in public, my hands just start shaking like this. They really do. It’s embarrassing. Everyone sees it. No one likes me here. They don’t even notice me. They don’t listen. I’m afraid to go to the high schools because half the time the coaches have someone tell me they’re not around. But I think they really are around because I’ll see them a few minutes later running practice. Everyone seems to be snickering. I try to teach them my punt-from-their-40 drill but they just look over my head and act as if they don’t see me. But I’m there darn it. Do you spell Rutgers with an apostrophe? Was George Rutgers president when the school started playing football in 1969? And so they changed the school name to “Rutger’s” and that street I’ve heard about to George Street? Why aren’t you saying anything? I feel so alone. You’re listening, aren’t you? Urban, you said he’d listen. I need him to listen. I need directions to Piscataway High School Tech. I know he knows how to get there. I wanna go home. Ok Bye.
