1 and done is gone anyway. 2019 class will more than likely be the last class for 1 and done
Some call it emotion others call it passion
I loved Bobby as a player, one of the best ever, but he has a look of pouting on the sidelines at times. Some emotion out of the head coach is fine, but I think he comes a little unglued at times, too much to be a major D1 coach. It is funny how one can be described based on the person's feelings toward said person.
If you like him, he showing passion
If you hate him, he's too emotional or combative.
I'm not saying you or the previous user have this thought, but I've seen examples of this when it comes to describing someone.
I doubt it.Is Paulus a potential Capel replacement?
Just wow.
I’m curious as to what his offer was from Pitt… Dan Hurley was offered three mill a year so will be interesting to see what they offered Jeff…
Wow, did not see this coming. I have a hard time believing that if he wanted to coach that there aren’t better oppurtunties than Pitt. That place is a dumpster fire right now. I mean do they even have enough to field a squad?
Yea I didn’t really mean to be negative about PITT, more just thinking that he would have had better offers if he really wanted to leave. I wish him the best, he did a heck of a job and I’m sad to see him go.Having a wife from pittsburgh I will definitely attest that it is a very passionate fan base that he can garner good support right away and it’s a very very cool city… But being in the ACC with other Giants it is a little intriguing that there was not a better opportunity out there.
I don’t think it will hurt recruiting because yeah Capel might recruit the players but ultimately they choose to come to Duke because they want to play for Coach K.
Two words... Brad Stevens
K's successor will be hand-picked by K. That's why I doubt it's Brad Stevens. In fact, I'd be beyond shocked.
They seem to have a really great relationship and a lot of respect for one another. K had him in his Sirius show not too long ago and it seems like they have been fairly close over the years. That said, doesn’t seem like he’d have any reason to leave the Celtics any time soon.K's successor will be hand-picked by K. That's why I doubt it's Brad Stevens. In fact, I'd be beyond shocked.
hes at LouisvilleIs Paulus a potential Capel replacement?
I was about to say this lolThat said, four hours ago I didn't think Jeff Capel would be the Pitt coach, either....
Two words... Boston Celtics
