I remember in 2009/10 we got both John Reik and Sidney, and both were supposed to be really damn good. Goh Reik was terrible, and Sydney didn’t even play that year. Really disappointing year for all the potential it had.

Had Sidney actually got to play that year, I believe he would have been much better. He didn’t have a whole year to get out of shape. Once 2010/11 came around he was already really out of shape, and couldn’t even stay on the court all that long. Damn shame too, because I certainly saw flashes of potential. Every now and again he would put out some effort on the court and it was fun to watch. Those moments were pretty rare unfortunately.

Did people help contribute? Probably but Renardo always did what Renardo wanted to do.
