And so many made the claim that Hill was the better RB. One is getting paid this year while the other was a PITA.

Came here to post that Akers looks special. Reminds me a bit of Dalvin Cook, and a bit of Kamara. They’ve both got wiggle.

As for Kylin Hill, I will always appreciate him for his efforts to get rid of that hideous rag we had for a state flag. I do believe he had an impact.

At the end of the day Akers had a more productive college career stat wise and likely got drafted higher than Kylin will. We will see what Kylin’s pro career ends up being but I don’t think it’s an insult to Kylin to say that Akers is better.

I really hate that Kylin came along while our program was going through so much turmoil. Had his entire career been under Mullen I think it would’ve had a much happier ending.

I thought he was on another level. Maybe it was just the different games.

I watched most of his senior season games in person. He WAS on another level. And in the State Championship game against Pearl, he left no doubt who was the best player on the field that night. It was an amazing performance.

This is true. Joe Mo was probably the worst possible type of coach for Kylin.

Amazing that both Aeres and Kylin's college careers were screwed up by Mullen leaving.

Yes, a self-absorbed player playing for an indulgent coach rarely ends well.

Well, I wasn’t in here at the time, but I was hyped about Hill when he committed/signed/played. I’m happy that he has moved on though.

Of all the good RB’s in the past two decades, none seemed to be more full of themself than he was. Might just be the progression of social media though. Who knows?
