Why would they struggle when they have the NPOY and the NCAA assit leader returning? Why would we struggle with all the NBA talent he has? Why should we struggle when we have a senior that shoots damn near 50% from 3 point range?

If Calipari fails to make the final 4 in the next 2 seasons, I'll join with others in calling for his retirement, but I think these next 2 seasons will go a big way in restoring Kentucky back to the top.
We are the only team that starts the season in November. Apparently everyone else is in mid season form year round.
I think there’s not nearly enough data to support we are in an upward trend. Last season ended with a 1st round loss to a 15 seed. We haven’t been a 1 seed in 7 years. We are literally in the middle of our longest ever stretch without a 1 seed in the NBAA tournament.
This year we get a 1 seed and make a final four, we’re in an upward trend. We’re not there yet though. Pretty premature to call anything we’ve seen an upward trend at this point.
