You usually do better, that's a solid logic miss and your post even details why. The best go to Australia so you would not be there because, as you accurately point out, you certainly aren't one of the best. If ten go, as you say, you aren't one of the ten. Those ten, plus 1, are the teams in the NY6 bowls (excluding Houston as the access rep). There are 67 P5 teams, wvu is somewhere between 30-35, not just this year, but historically and going forward.

I didn't say we were the top 10 ... the point was if the P5 was represented, as a whole, by 10 surfers in the competition, we'd be about 5th. But we'd be in the competition where the best play.
