So, in reading all of these comments about Ivanka using a private email account, can she be guilty but to a lesser degree than HRC?

I think it's safe to logically say that the two cases are entirely different and therefore should be judged differently. Unfortunately that won't happen in today's hyper-partisan world we live in.

If she had sensitive or classified information within her emails, then I say burn her down as well. If she didn’t, then no, they aren’t remotely the same.
Conversely...until we know that she didn’t then the situations are exactly the same. I’m sure the trump admin will be forthcoming with the truth. lol

Turn them over and let them be reviewed. I’d be fine with that and the reality is Id be pissed if she played the same games as what HRC did. While acting as whatever position she is in, those aren’t her personal property. They belong to the people of the United States of America. I’m willing to bet these situations aren’t remotely similar and the story is relying on surface optics and partisanship to drive it though.
I would actually believe that yoga lessons could be in the cards on this one though.
Which one ran a private server in their own home?
Which one was a Secretary of State and had a long standing history of working with classified information?
Which one deleted emails and scrubbed devices?
Did you eat a lot of paint chips when you were a kid?
These cases are apples and oranges. Many people in Washington have used private email accounts in the conduction of government business. It's stupid and shouldn't occur. Very very very few however ran their own private server in their own home to use those private emails.
1) does not matter. Might be worse using gmail.
2) position does not matter. Does ivanka have a security clearance? Yes? Ok then.
3) we have no idea if Ivanka did this or not. Investigate!

Merely having a security clearance isn’t a delineating factor. Stop it before I embarrass you.

My point was is if she had access to info that us mere plebs don’t and that info somehow wound up in her private email then...Lock her up! Lock her up! (Is that how it goes?). Actually I really don’t think it’s worth jail time as I didn’t think it was with HRC. I just enjoy pointing out hypocrisy when I see it.
It’s not hypocrisy, that’s the point. But you hit on something, if she had classified info on her personal email, I say burn her to the ground. That’s the point and I think everyone on this board is of that opinion.
I can promise you, if it were one of us lowly plebs, we’d be in the pokey. I have a serious problem with mishandling of classified info.
For Hillary, there are many more aspects to what she did. Her situation was more complex. She was intentionally trying to sidestep FOIA. She was extremely lax with security protocols. She destroyed evidence and obstructed justice. The entire Dem establishment through it all out the window over a power grab. That’s not the same as Ivanka. Bottom line, if Ivanka had classified info on there, as Hillary did in abundance, she needs prosecuted as Hillary should have been.
You weren’t on here when this was discussed previously, he’s been consistently of the same opinion and rationale as I have. We’re pretty much lockstep on this one.
I guess my question to you guys is...how are you so sure about what Ivanka did or didn’t do?
Everything I hear from you guys is “but Hillary did so much worse!”....how do you know Ivanka hasn’t done worse? You seem so sure but we know absolutely nothing. Sure sounds hypocritical to me.
I’m not sure. Investigate it. If she’s guilty, burn her. Not sure how much more clear I can make it. Not hypocritical. Though, your calls for investigation when you all whined for 2 years about the investigations is certainly hypocritical.
What we currently know, it isn’t the same. You guys just took Congress, investigate it once the new session of Congress is in. I’m sure you’ll be able to thwart her run for the Presidency in 20.
