John Roberts just did his best Soup Nazi imitation, telling Cheeto Hitler "No tariffs for you!"

The ruling was 6-3 against Cheeto. When a Supreme Court that has a 6-3 conservative majority votes 6-3 against a conservative President, he should know he just had his *** handed to him. Trump, of course, accepted the ruling gracefully. "Those justices who ruled against me are a disgrace to the nation! They're fools and lap dogs! I'm absolutely ashamed of them." LOL, that's good to know, Cheeto.

This calls for a toast tonight with a glass of quality Cabernet.

I don't know the immediate effect of this decision - do all tariffs just go away today -

But, if the answer is yes, we should get an immediate feel for the effect of tariffs on consumer prices and inflation.

what was the saying, "may you live in interesting times". seems as if we sure do

You gotta love Mango Mussolini. He simply cannot abide being told what to do, or being told "no." So he is now seeking, once again, to arrogate to himself Congress' constitutionally delegated power to impose tariffs. This time, under the supposed authority of "Section 122" (of what federal Act, one might well wonder).

So back to court we will go. Some folks never learn.

What a president. Screws his own country, screws other countries, breaks the law to do it, falsely accuses people who are legally correct, doubles down on the illegal activity, sounds dementia-addled the whole time saying he wants to be a good boy, falls asleep in front of us all multiple times, drives actions in which poorly trained government agents repeatedly kill US citizens, and somehow still has 1/3 of the country so misled that they’re willing to lick the poop out of his golf diaper.

This is funny.

OK, I had never heard the term "jestergooning" before reading your post," which compelled me to consult with my friend Google. Here is what I found:

"Jester gooning" is an internet slang term that describes a state of being completely consumed by a trivial, often absurd, or misguided activity, frequently with self-destructive or humorous results. It blends "jester" (a fool, joker, or performer) with "gooning" (originally meaning intense, prolonged, often drug-enhanced masturbation), but here adapted to mean intense,, mindless consumption or pursuit.

Now I understand why a number of people refer to Hermy McFluffins as a "goonie."

I keep telling people that everything has changed and nothing can stop what’s coming.

The Supreme Court just “helped” Trump and most people can’t see it.

They struck down tariffs based on the IEEPA law, that has been abused by past presidents, especially Obama, as I just laid out in a two part thread.

That law is so broad, that it actually endangers America, when used by a corrupt president like Obama.

And this ruling did nothing to stop Trump from imposing tariffs.

Trump immediately declared that he would restore the tariffs struck down because of the IEEPA law.

How?

NATIONAL SECURITY.

And here’s what most people are missing in this Supreme Court decision.

The Supreme Court did not give a remedy.
They didn’t demand that the tariffs be given back or how.

Why?

I would argue that they knew what was coming.
The Supreme Court did not throw out the tariffs that Trump placed on countries because of “national security.”

Why?

The Constitution gives the president “plenary power” over “national security.”

The Supreme Court knew that was coming.

They literally DISTINGUISHED what tariffs are legal and what tariffs aren’t.

That’s a great PRECEDENT for the future.
Clear law instead of purposely ambiguous law, that allows for future abuse.

Trump just exposed the corrupt IEEPA law in order to set the table to get rid of it.

And trust me.
Go read my 2 Part 🧵 on this Supreme Court decision.
Obama and Brennan just **** a brick.

Joe has quickly turned into my “go to” for common sense.
If you pay attention to the past 14 months you can see where this is going.
The Dems know. Everything they do is to slow down Trump.
It’s all going to hit them like a title wave by July of this year.
The economy is crushing it, as far as production.
We are building and selling everything right now.
Ge Verona is making turbines to convert natural gas into electricity for data centers.
It was trading at $160 a share a little over a year ago.
It’s was at $863 yesterday.
Don’t listen to the liberal financial news. AI production isn’t slowing. It is exploding.
Watch the companies that are building things in the US.
They are BOOMING.
Trump is going to lay it all on the line for midterms, and he is going to kicked it all off around July 4th. 💯🇺🇸

The majority of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. They can barely make it by on the day to day level.

But YES, taxing those average Americans living paycheck to paycheck so that *maybe* everything outsourced *might* come back as a benefit to the average American in 10 years via tariffs is absolutely what they want. It's what America needs!

You live in false reality dude. Grow up

None of your statement makes any sense. There is zero proof tariffs hurt American consumers. Inflation is low. Hundreds of billions in tariff revenue help lower the deficit and lastly companies onshoring production creates jobs.

🚨BREAKING: Justice Clarence Thomas just UNLEASHED pure FIRE in his dissent on the tariff ruling, dropping TRUTH BOMBS that expose the majority’s BS and defend President Trump’s America First authority like a boss!

He didn’t mince words. He straight-up NAILED it:

“NEITHER the statutory text nor the Constitution provide a basis for ruling against the President.”

BOOM. Read that again. The Constitution and the law ITSELF back Trump—no ifs, ands, or buts.

Thomas keeps swinging:

“Congress authorized the President to ‘regulate . . . importation.’ Throughout American history, the authority to ‘regulate importation’ has been understood to include the authority to impose duties on imports.”

Historical facts don’t care about your feelings, globalists.

He doubles down:

“The meaning of that phrase was beyond doubt by the time that Congress enacted this statute, shortly after President Nixon’s highly publicized duties on imports were UPHELD based on identical language.”

Nixon did it. Courts said YES. Same exact words. Case closed.

Then the kill shot:

“The statute that the President relied on therefore authorized him to impose the duties on imports at issue in these cases.”

Crystal. Clear.

I mean, you're simply wrong. Tariffs are a tax on the everyday AMERICAN people. We pay the price. Inflation is what is was when Trump took office. Ad hominen, but the "save act" that has NO chance of getting passed through the Senate is simply a poll tax which is unconstitutional in the fundamental sense.

Just be honest and say that "Tariffs are a Democrat scheme that Trump coopted to try and use as 'I'm a business man!' bs tactic" that has failed miserably and actually hurts the everyday American.

Homie, at some point the veil has got to be lifted from you- MAHA bent the knee to big pesticides literally today and Trump's tariff leverage from a 'business standpoint' got shutdown from our highest court filled with Conservatives.

Open your eyes- the conspiracies you hold so dearly too is actually happening in real time while you're watching. Be better

We can agree to disagree.

I have no problem agreeing to disagree when its emotional/cultural. But tariffs are literally a tax on the American Citizen with the hope of long term gains for the American Citizen. I get it, I'm not a cultist, and can understand rationale and the long term game.

But the lower and middle class American citizen is struggling. They're living paycheck to paycheck, and some business a ss long term play on a global level, while understandable in some rational sense, is not the worth it to leverage the average American family's livelihood when they can barely get by as it is and have to wait until these 'tariffs' pay off in 10 years.

And the Trump's administration's attempts to leverage tariff's as a 'business move' to get other countries to capitulate has failed miserably and only made the average American's life worse. And now, it's rightly, been shot down by the Supreme Court. And we're the laughing stock of the entire world because so. I hope you're happy though!

Meh. Color me shocked that Trump would not take "no" for an answer. This just means more litigation. At least until the Democrats assume control of one or both houses of Congress. Then, all bets are off.

Not in the way they were - under IEEPA. That is very obviously how.

You are also completely wrong with “unabated”. There are guard rails under the other mechanisms to impose tariffs unlike IEEPA. That’s why he initially chose IEEPA.

In actuality, it’s even more beautiful than it logically is. This is something that TACO will fixate and stew on: losing and not getting his way. His brain (what little bit is left) can’t process that so it will eat at him. Like the 2020 election he lost that he still talks about 6 years later.

The end result will be continued tariffs. If you want a moral victory then enjoy it.
