Next week is going to be nauseating. 1) We will likely lose to CU. 2) If CU wins this week all we will hear about is how awesome Sanders is and if they beat us that will is just amplify the media frenzy. 3) Finally, if Buffs are 2-0 I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up being ranked just because….
Seriously? Cry some more. Watching football is a pastime not life. Our fans turn into whiny bitches far too quick.

Frost gets five years to piss down his leg and now everyone is mad or throwing up a white flag after the first week of a new coach.

TCU and Minnesota are both probably going to suck this season. Who knows how good anyone is yet.

It damn well better be a Sims, Johnson and Ervin, ground and pound game next Saturday. Hopefully our D can hold them down enough. It'll be tough

Yes because we can't have Sims trying to throw in Travis Hunter's direction too much or bad things will happen.

anyone else notice that every pass play that goes downfield the Buffs wideout extends hand and pushes off the DB?

Valid concern. Temple -> Baylor -> NFL all seem like very big promotions at each step. I don’t think that promotion level exists for him now that he’s at NU. I take him at his word that he’s tired of moving. And I think building a program from the ground up like he would need to do at NU would give him more roots/reason to stay than a flash in the pan transfer portal job Deon did. I may be wrong but the only job I worry about Rhule leaving for is Penn state. Yes, this is a large rationalization but I think Rhule is an honest guy and he said he’s done moving his family. Could be bs tho.

Rhule would absolutely leave us for Penn State, and he wouldn't think twice about it

We will lose next week. We just do not have the offense. We do not have a P5 QB on the roster. Rhule failed where Prime succeeded: a good transfer QB.

He didn't even need to do that. He could have just kept the starting QB he inherited

Colorado looks incredibly competent on offense. Gonna need to score a lot more than the Huskers did versus Minnesota to get a win next week.

Tcu lost everything off an already bad defense last year. Colorado is suspect upfront on defense. Travis hunter is going to play over 100 plays today (crazy). Don’t be so defeatist.

Also, all Deion did is bring is son with him. If Matt rhules son was a stud qb, we’d have the same situation. The result counts but it wasn’t deions superior recruiting/coaching that got him a qb.

If we get to the point where Penn St wants Rhule, then things are looking very good for us.

I agree, I'm just saying that I don't buy that Rhule will stay here if has any success at all. He's never stayed in the same job for more than 4 years.

Casey would’ve had no wideouts to throw to on Thursday. Only one getting open only played the 2nd half. There’s many other deficiencies on offense besides just the qb.

I think we will have a hard time with the Colorado speed has on both sides of the football, even if we average oline i think we could were them out up front line like the old days, but this oline couldn't even manhandle ga southern last year. I have seen ga southern play live several times i live an hour from Statesboro Georgia and can tell you they are undersized up front.

Yeah, every team sucks if it helps your narrative. This board is exactly the same as it was 6 years ago and every year since. Nebraska has been winning 3-4 games and fans don't like it. So they *****. And... every year there are delusional posters that spend all their time whining about other posters whining.

I'm officially on the "Anyone but Sims" to start at QB next week.
Yeah it could be a problem for sure. He’s just not a good passer and we aren’t going to win just running all the time. Maybe we can establish enough of a run to hit on some big play actions.

Buffs are solid in the secondary "Hunter starts on any team in the country" they look susceptible to the run. Tcu definitely not the team they where last year.

Talk about weak. fans aren’t on week 1. We are on year 7 of ****. Is the past fair to Rhule and this staff that they started out without a lot of grace? You probably don’t think so, but that’s why they get paid the big bucks. Deion came in ready to win.

week 1 play isn’t what scared me. The inability to make good coaching choices scared me and many fans. We have some weak links on the offensive staff. It’s a lack of intelligence not a lack of experience

Maybe it’s you who should stay away until October November
I’m good. As I wrote before, this team will be better late in the year than it is now.

You should probably not try to control speech or emotions . After six years if ineptitude gloves are off and triggers are soft. It is what it is.
As opposed to you trying to control speech and emotions. By criticizing a freaking smile lol hello pot it’s me kettle.

CU belongs in the Big 12. No defense, all offense. There special teams appear to suck.

To be honest, we should take out Sanders early next week like they did to Adrian Martinez. They are nothing on O without him.

i’m going hell or high water for 3 days of golf and Smokin Spent to much for tickets going with a buddy and meeting a Husker buddy that lives there..
I live in Boulder county, so it would be super easy to go. But I’ve seen both teams play, and I would have CU favored. Not willing to drop that much money to see NU lose in that stadium.
