I think the part that is most frustrating is CU (and every other team out there) gets their guys open in space, I mean they scheme and attack...our team, not so much.
I think if NU takes care of the ball next Sat, they will run the ball right down CU's throat. Defensively, CU will complete a lot of short passes, so NU just has to tackle well and not be duped into some stop and go routes. It's not freaking out to watch games and react to what you see with your eyes, as opposed to being delusional. CU is significantly more talented than Minny on offense. Our offense looks like a caveman rubbing two sticks together. I think concern is warranted.
Cu looks way way better than we did on offense
Agreed, that's gotta be the game plan.I think if NU takes care of the ball next Sat, they will run the ball right down CU's throat. Defensively, CU will complete a lot of short passes, so NU just has to tackle well and not be duped into some stop and go routes.
A team like Utah will chop Colorado up into pieces.
TCU definitely specialized in 2nd half comebacks last year! I still think TCU wakes up and wins but CU is impressing early.I've only watched 5mins but Colorado actually look pretty good. Not to mention they're up 7-0 right now.
Or maybe TCU isn't as good as everyone was saying, or, they're just slow starters.
Until CU gets about 8-9 guys in the box, NU should not throw the ball more than 10 tmes the entire game. I think NU will wear CU down by the 3rd quarter and NU will need to keep lots of fresh bodies available on defense.Agreed, that's gotta be the game plan.
The visible difference between Sanders and Sims in the pocket is very unsettling. And Minnesota is trash. TCU TBD.Cu looks way way better than we did on offense
TCU came out right away with 3 passes and a 3 and out. It is apparent, you have to run right at CU and maybe mix in a couple of swing passes. Just gotta do the basic stuff on offense and march the ball right down the field, they seem soft of defense in the front 7.TCU definitely specialized in 2nd half comebacks last year! I still think TCU wakes up and wins but CU is impressing early.
People say this every year and then they win 9 games. They may not be world beaters, but trash isn’t exactly accurateThe visible difference between Sanders and Sims in the pocket is very unsettling. And Minnesota is trash. TCU TBD.
Fair enough. They are average to decent for the ****** BIG and against their weak OOC opponents.People say this every year and then they win 9 games. They may not be world beaters, but trash isn’t exactly accurate
agree for the most part. But to be fair, the only conference you have to be better than decent to win 9 games is the sec. PAC 2, big 16, big 12 and acc are pretty average with the exception of 3 teams each. At most.Fair enough. They are average to decent for the ****** BIG and against their weak OOC opponents.
Adrian looked competent when he had an OL that was decent. We still don’t have that. I felt people were underestimating Colorado. I don’t feel good about next week….at all.Not giving up either but it looks like Rhule hired Adrian Martinez v2.0 for his QB.
They look real good so far.I'm probably the only one who thinks cu will keep it a decent game against TCU, but I hope they get blown out.
Just don't buy into what the media says. Nobody knew ****. They look good.No matter what happens here today it’s clear that Sanders has something working. He put together a completely new team from scratch and it’s clearly working. This is kind of shocking.
Anyone who doesn’t take Prime seriously as a coach has never heard him speak without their own extreme bias predetermining the messageJust don't buy into what the media says. Nobody knew ****. They look good.
It’s not that easy. TCU’s defense wasn’t good last year at all. It's not freaking out to watch games and react to what you see with your eyes, as opposed to being delusional. CU is significantly more talented than Minny on offense. Our offense looks like a caveman rubbing two sticks together. I think concern is warranted.
Wears out or gets hurt. Look, I get it. Best player on the field. But this kid has a long career ahead and Prime is going to end up getting him hurt. Fast pace no huddle college football playing two ways and touching the ball more than anyone other than the qb’s isn’t going to bode well for him long termLook at all those WRs getting open for Colorado. I just wonder how many snaps Hunter can play before he wears out.
Crow gonna be a popular dish around here if we lose next weekWhat's the excuse going to be?
We traded winning now for building a program later?
CU has better players?
We should've flipped more of the roster, no matter how controversial?
***Maker no mistake, CU had less to work with when they hired their coach than NU did.
Minnesota has a far better defense than TCU. TCU also came out looking flat on both sides for some reason.Their QB is good.
Rhule didn’t seem real bothered by Thursday. I wonder how calm he is watching this game. No matter how mediocre Minny really is, he could hang his hat on the fact they were 9-4 last year. But if we get boat raced by a team that was terrible last year and had most of their roster replaced that would be a huge black eye. This isn’t Temple or a gutted Baylor. He should win at least six games with what he inherited and the cupcake schedule -- and he surely knows it. Honeymoons can be short.I'll call it already 0- 2 after next week.
