Coach Oats said that the BBN blew up his Twitter after he said what he said about UK. Very complimentary of the Cats and seemed very humble....

First he said Cal didn't need to apologize to him about something one of our players did.
But he also said he apologize for saying whining. He likes coach Cal, and also said BBN let him know about it.

Oates said it was a mistake to use the phrase "whiny" and wishes he didn't say it. Apologized to Cal and they had a good talk before the game. He was very complimentary of our guys. Overall he came off as a good guy who said something stupid that he regretted. He got whipped and owned it.
Only things I can think of are Shai's shhh to the crowd (not likely) or Hami's windmill dunk at the end.
Usually happens when you get your @$$ handed to you.

It was Hami's dunk, but their coach said there was no need for an apology. The guys were just playing basketball.

What's hard to understand is that the entire city of Buffalo has never won anything, other than AFC titles. It's a real stretch to talk trash being associated with that town.
That is silly if he apologized for that. There was nearly 2 minutes still left in the game and this team has a habit of letting teams make runs on us. I say you play basketball until you can dribble out the clock.
There was 1:41 left on the dunk. C’mon who gets their feelings hurt because you dunk that? Should he have pulled it out and dribbled the shot clock out?

I thought the most interesting thing he said was that Sean Miller told him after the 1st game that we (UK) defend better than his team (Zona).
