Buffalo Postgame Comments?

[Whatever25]

Anyone watch them, and know what was said?

[throatpoker]

pretty sure their coach said Cal apologized to him for his comments? anyone catch that? i was just signing on

[Jazzycat]

Coach Oats said that the BBN blew up his Twitter after he said what he said about UK. Very complimentary of the Cats and seemed very humble....

[WildMoon]

Yeah i am watching it right now.

First he said Cal didn't need to apologize to him about something one of our players did.

But he also said he apologize for saying whining. He likes coach Cal, and also said BBN let him know about it.

[BBUK_anon]

P_SS on Buffalo and the horse they all road in on...

[CGblue]

What did one of our players do?

[TIE543]

What did one of our players do?

Beat the piss out of them

[Bungalow Bill]

Oates said it was a mistake to use the phrase "whiny" and wishes he didn't say it. Apologized to Cal and they had a good talk before the game. He was very complimentary of our guys. Overall he came off as a good guy who said something stupid that he regretted. He got whipped and owned it.

Only things I can think of are Shai's shhh to the crowd (not likely) or Hami's windmill dunk at the end.

Usually happens when you get your @$$ handed to you.

Or, numerous cans of whoopass moments.

[chattanoogawildcat]

Beat the piss out of them

Well, we did and backed it up unlike their coach.

[Midway Cat]

It was Hami's dunk, but their coach said there was no need for an apology. The guys were just playing basketball.

[FrankUnderwood]

Beat the piss out of them

haha

[CGblue]

Got it. Cal being cordial. He loved that dunk too I bet..

[Cowtown Cat]

We beat their asses so bad that Cal had to apologize for an open court windmill dunk. Think about that for a minute. [laughing]

[CGblue]

What a day! For that matter what a weekend!!

[stoneycat_20]

They all said we were good and stuff like that

[TruBluCatFan]

Enjoyed their presser. They ran their mouths some yesterday but were humble and complimentary today. Probably should have been a little quieter yesterday.

[marshalfan]

I like the fact that Cal does not rub it in and was concerned about Hami's dunk. There was nothing wrong with it but Cal does not run up the score

[CGblue]

Usually. There are some Pitinos and Andersons out there though.

This deserves some love. Awesome post.

Uh, humility was enforced....not a darn thing they can do about it...

[Elijah55]

Beat the piss out of them

lol nice

[Wall2Boogie]

I don't hear any of their players talking now. The experience factor really played well in their favor as they said it would

[KyCatFan1]

BBN let him know about it.

Hey that's what we do. Good thing he doesn't own a roofing company.

[BlueWorldOrder74]

Someone please post link to presser. I'd like to watch later.

Want to see what Cal said .

Someone on here trashed the coach the other day, saying he was a nobody at a nobody school.

Dude makes $600,000 a year.

I'll take being a nobody at that salary all day long.

What's hard to understand is that the entire city of Buffalo has never won anything, other than AFC titles. It's a real stretch to talk trash being associated with that town.

[throatpoker]

Can't believe he apologized for the dunk lol

You’re halfway there.

[KyCatFan1]

That is silly if he apologized for that. There was nearly 2 minutes still left in the game and this team has a habit of letting teams make runs on us. I say you play basketball until you can dribble out the clock.

[throatpoker]

[Kybluedude]

There was 1:41 left on the dunk. C’mon who gets their feelings hurt because you dunk that? Should he have pulled it out and dribbled the shot clock out?

[Pulaski Cat Fan_rivals377587]

If I'd been Hami, I would have posed Shawn Kemp style after that nasty *** dunk.

[eppsfan]

Sounds like whining to me...

[CincyUKFan]

You’re halfway there.

And you're a somebody, eh?

Get this. One day we're both in a casket. Then what?

Still going to hang your hat on being a somebody then?

Keep living to be a somebody. Tell me how that works out.

I'm quite happy to be a nobody who was redeemed by the only somebody there ever was.

[kyrx]

I thought the most interesting thing he said was that Sean Miller told him after the 1st game that we (UK) defend better than his team (Zona).
