I have probably been to over 20 Buc-ee's locations due to my job requiring me to drive all over Texas for the better pay of 15 years. They are the best kind of overdone. Most have to be in the 100 pump range. The biggest I saw was in New Braunfels outside of San Antonio. The Smallest is in Pearland, Texas felt like a small Pilot/Flying J without 18 wheeler parking.
Best buys for me.
1. Coolers, tumblers, etc. Man they had all the Yeti style stuff long before anyone else with a huge selection. Had to be the first place I ever saw RTIC. Good price and selection. Best value in the world is $.99 for a 20lbs bag of ice. I'm probably 1500 miles from the closest Buc-ee's yesterday at a national park and had a little Buc-ee's cooler with our picnic stuff in the back of the truck and 3 different passerbys commented on how much they love Buc-ee's. 24 can zip up cooler that holds ice better than a Coleman, $15.

2. Pecan Pie Kolache. Everything that is great about pecan pie and donuts mixed together.
3. Boudin Kolache. Not as good as you can get at Slovacek's in West, TX... But it will do in a pinch.
4. Cheesesteak Burrito. I had to look this up to see what all was in it. Would be number one if it didn't make me have to drop a deuce in 90 minutes or less after eating.
It's the Philly favorite, wrapped in a tortilla with two types of beef. Tender beef fajitas and roast beef are dressed with grilled onions, peppers, Monterey Jack cheese, and an out of this world jalapeno mayonnaise.
5. Pastrami Reuben and homemade chips. Pretzel bun, sauerkraut, fried onion crisps, delicious...
6. Brisket Sandwich... No problem wit this being higher on someone's list. It's just that in TX I could get a good brisket sandwich a lot of places, so at Buc-ee's I usually opted for other goodies.
It's a big ol tourist trap that you must stop at every time you have a chance on a trip.
