I think they are also sleeping on Tom Herman. His name is not mentioned enough and we wouldn't have to pay another school. Not my first choice, but I think he is worth a look. He learned from Urban, and is probably a more realistic hire.

If I'm not mistaken Feldman works for Fox??? And IIRC Fox seems to have dug their heels in on the notion that Urban and Nebraska haven't had contact... Many seem to suggest otherwise....

He could very well do a fine job, but I did not like him while he was coaching Houston. Made the playoffs and all, but he was a poor clock management guy and a jerk a lot of times. Plus he let Hopkins go.

Didn’t he win the division 4 out of 6 years? Not a big BOB fan, but I don’t think a bad NFL trade indicates he can’t be a successful CFB coach.

From that list, I'm intrigued by Leonhard. Would fix the defense and seems like a grinder and tough-minded. Not sure if he can recruit. I know he hasn't been a HC yet, but some guys are ready to make that leap.

BoB: I imagine he would be a great recruiter, but I just have the feeling he is more of an NFL guy. Maybe I had too much purple drank and I'm not with it.

While I think Campbell would bring discipline and toughness, I'm not so sure he would be able to recruit better talent here, "just because he has resources".

We need a major infusion of talent and better player development. The recent NFL drafts don't lie. With the recruiting rankings they have had in recent years, the obvious answer is the need for better player development.

I'm a bit bummed Mark Stoops isn't on that list. But what do I know (besides jack ****). I was among those that thought crotch rot would get this thing turned around in 3-4 years.

Obrien is the worst name on that list.
He’s going to be fired by alabama after this year. A fired coordinator? At alabama, under saban, when all he has to do is run the offense? How’s he going to do with out athletes when he’s busy with other aspects of the program. No frickin way.
His players routinely hate him.
Obrien would be a terrible hire.
