And now we wait for Lee...

When the season ended, I was more convinced Lee would be leaving than Briscoe, and that was confirmed with Lee's comments from a couple weeks ago. But in recent days, I've become more convinced Briscoe would leave than Lee, because of reports on the response players were getting from NBA teams. I think Lee will go ahead and return also, and it could make for a really good 2016-17 season. Having some veteran leadership back is always good.

yea . . . . this means he couldn't get any interest from an NBA team. How could that be? After almost an entire season of horrid shooting, driving into a packed lane, losing the ball, and looking at the coach with that why did that happen look?

Kid averaged about 10 PPG while having no 3 Point Shot and being an abysmal FT Shooter: Take his above average defensive skills and rebounding for his size, and if he can improve to where he's even a mediocre-average shooter from the foul line, the potential is there for him to be a very good college player. If nothing else, with the return of Briscoe, we no longer really have to worry about out depth in the backcourt.

That has to be one of the worst post I've seen on here. The only thing anyone could say negative about Briscoe is his shooting. He played his butt off, rebounded, and played defense as good as anyone on the team last year. Briscoe is a warrior that when he gets his shot back will be one of the best guards in the nation.

Huge huge huge huge HUGE. We now have the depth we need at guard. Front court already solid. Can go to a 3 guard lineup when the SF needs a rest. I am amped!

Probably because he wasn't a bad shooter in H.S or practice. It got to him mentally and killed his confidence. Happened to Ulis as well if you look at his H.S and FR year shooting compared to his soph year, just wasn't as big of a drop off as Briscoe

Whoever worked with Dakari to improve his performance at the stripe needs to get with Briscoe.

If he can work up to a 70%+ it's game over with his ability to get to the hole and finish.

Ok . Great . We need the experience . But he shoots like a 6th grader from the line again I'm going to be pissed . Get in the gym for shot after shot after after shot . He works on it it will show and he will eventually get to cash in and it helps the team big time as well. But no more 38 % from the line .

from what I have seen of Fox and Monk, Briscoe will only make those two guys better.
Ulis was far and away the heart and soul of this bunch last year and now Briscoe will have his chance to be the emotional catalyst that some reports had him being coming out of high school.

Can't wait to see what Cal does with this bunch.

To say I'm excited would be a huge understatement! Our team is loaded for bear and our backcourt is just sick! F*** Gracie Allen!

This is great news. Something tells me he turns into a shooter as well. Seems like a very motivated and coach able kid.

Excellent news! He will be an important part of the team next year. His experience and speed should keep the defenses honest. Love his game!
