Hard to go "ripping into players on the court", when you are turning the ball over, getting your shot blocked on drives to the basket, loafing back on defense and not setting your team mates up for baskets.

Your "leader" has to "lead" by example!! Briscoe has failed miserably at that so far this season. Hoping he can turn it around.

I said at the beginning of the year if Briscoe is the leader it could be trouble. A few others did as well.

You have to ask yourself (if you've followed Cals career), would cal make Wall, Knight, or a Andrew the leader of this team? The resounding answer is without a doubt, yes.

It was a shot at Fox. And no one really caught it. Most, even me early, wrote it off as being the only sophomore. But If ya think about it cal doesn't care about that.

You realize U.K. had one more foul called on them then Florida... there was bad calls both ways. U.K. got beat because they got out rebounded by 25, y'all only had 6 offensive rebounds compared to Florida who had 17

This reminded me of the dunk video with him and Kenny Walker. They not even close to what they were then. I was in Atlanta, SEC tournament 87?, LSU and UK. I don't think you could see it all on TV, but LSU players were doing pullups on Walkers forearms, take the ball away and he would look at the refs.... and they would put their palms up..... didn't see a thing.

I believe as jedwar mentioned in another thread that when Cal switched to pounding the ball inside to Bam it completely changed this team and we have been in a downward spiral since. I believe he was justified in trying to get the ball in because Bam shot a very high percentage 21-25 at the time with that being said most of those were dunks when Bams man left him to defend against penetration. I hope Cal has not lost control of this team!! I still believe it is very poor sportsmanship to not go through the handshake line irregardless.

If it works then I'm all for it. I could care less as long unless it lights a fire under them. I want stuff like this to happen I want losing to hurt these players. Right now this team is just a sad bunch to watch. It all comes down to heart and nothing more. These 3 recent losses have happened all because the other team wanted the win wayyyy more than us. This isn't the UK basketball I know. This has nothing to do with Cal this isn't the mentality of your typical young Cal team. I've seen Cal have young teams never leave anything on the court. I've seen Cal teams absolutely hurt from losing a regular season again.

What we are watching right now isn't what UK basketball is about and I'm disguisted by it. It's a privilege to don the Blue and White. Regardless of how you feel about the NCAA. It's a privilege for these players to play here and they treat it like a right. This is much bigger than them and they do t realize it they're not just representing themselves they're representing all of those who came before them. And they owe it to those who have paved the way to leave it all on the court. I'd rather see us have 10 losses right now if it meant watching a team scratch and claw and fight to the final horn leaving your guts on that court knowing you didn't lose just because the other teams wanted it more.

This right here is just sad and shameful. It's all these players fragile mentality. It all about mock drafts to this particular bunch. How many of you all feel like KAT ever played a single game where he was worried about his draft stock and how he may be perceived by a scout? How many times did he not sacrifice for his brothers and leave every ounce out there? Cal has had many young teams with heart who, at least while they were playing the games, cared more about their brothers and pride and school pride than draft stock or proving to a scout he can knock down the open jumper because they all knew in the end it would shape itself out I feel like these players are just too immature to care about anything but themselves and draft stock at the moment when either way if they do or don't it'll shape itself out..

I've seen Aaron Harrison damn near tears after losing to a bad USC team tell the media that we're gonna turn this around and make a great story, and that cold blooded MFer left it all out til the final horn every game on in....... as a freshman, it's not Cal and his freshman. It's THESE freshman. No school pride IMO. No heart. I'm not sure they truly realize realize the priveledge they have playing in a UK uni, each one here knows thousands who would kill if it meant being in that spot. I've been saying since TN loss this team has no heart i said heart is why we lost UL game during the aftermath and since last week I've lost all hope in this team. But who knows we've seen crazier.

Go Cats!!! Hopefully them not shaking hands is the beginning to something great and lights a fire. Hopefully that loss made them so mad that they don't wanna feel that feeling again. Losing is supposed to hurt so I really like this because I've felt like losing doesn't hurt this bunch near enough so hopefully they decide they don't wanna lose anymore. I don't want them to leave a stone unturned til they play with heart and this one is one that couldnt hurt anything so why not turn it. We play them dirty swamp reptiles again I'm just gonna guess we spank them. Just like I assume with TN. Hopefully. The problems was the timing of the calls. They were withing four in the second half and UK gets a bad call UF goes down
and makes a three. Come down, another questionable call they come down and make another shot and we can't beat anyone when **** like that is happening!

Still doesn't excuse the issue of not getting back on defense and allowing Florida to "Kentucky" us time and time again .
Where did our fast breaks go? Where did our rebounding effort go?
This team takes some of the dumbest shots I've ever seen. Foot on the three point line with 20 on the clock, pull up fade away baseline jumpers that florida heavily guarded with no rebounders in place and things like Bam trying to slam home a dunk from 5' away with Egbunu in his face.
