Any opinions on bringing in multiple players from the same team. What are the advantages and disadvantages? Do you think Coach Pike will consider going in that direction?

I don’t know much about Myron Jones on the defensive. If that checks out looking at numbers Harrar and Jones fit.

I understand why people here would like to get Harrar on our roster. But I don’t get why Rutgers would be attractive to him. We’re talking about a guy who was a starter at Penn St. and would have to compete with Cliff for starters minutes here. I have to believe Harrar can find a more needy team where he can be a no doubt about it plug and play starter.

He could play power forward. If RHJ comes back he could slide over to wing where he should be

Maybe he wants to go to the tourney? Despite many of your reactions on the DePaul kid - we would be really solid once again defensively if we brought in him and Harrar. I know offense is more exciting, but I like Pike’s chances better sticking with defense first. It’s what he knows and is most comfortable with.

I could also see him being an integral part of a very good team missing a physical 4/5. I don’t think he’s coming here. I can’t see us using Cliff and him and the same time, and as you’ve said, he isn’t going to want to compete with Cliff for minutes.

So what team needs Harrar to start for them, AND is likely to be a tournament team?

Some of these transfers can’t have both - a starting job, and a guarantee at making the tournament.

Too bad Abmas and Obanor haven’t hopped in the portal — would fit our needs perfectly lol

Carr I am afraid would be like the second coming of Sanders. I don't want almost everything to revolve among one guy. If we brought in Kausher and Carr than how many minutes would our guards who are already here get? I am talking about maybe Baker, McConnell, Mulcahy and possibly Jones. Miller is also coming on board. Harrar I have wanted from day one of the portal. jones from PSU I feel also could help but he is from Alabama. I just wonder if he might rather get closer to his home.

Jones, Harrar and Pauly is a nice haul and fulfills our needs. If we have a 4th ship, I’m not sure but maybe another big man? I think you play Harper, Harrar and Cliff together and be in great shape.
