9 or 10 seed, comfortably in seems to be the latest projections.

ESPN has us in Wichita as a 10 seed. That would be a nice little home court edge if we get sent there.

They hardly ever do rematches in the first round but I guess you never know.

The jays are 2 more losses to slipping down to the 10's.

But it looks like he has NU playing Louisville, right?

BYU would be playing St. Mary's.

That has us playing Louisville, not BYU.

That would be an interesting matchup against Chucky

Would they? I’m sure they’re salivating at the opportunity. We saw what they did last year, they love storylines…

They do love storylines, that's why matching us up against Chucky/Louisville would seem likely. If KU keeps losing and drops to a 6 or 7 seed I could see them matching us up as well.

Gotta be happy with the spot NU is in after that 6 game funk. They could still play their way out of it, but if they can win the 3 games where they’re favored, they should be good.

A 6 seed is still in play for the big red. Unlikely but win out and take two in the tourney ..

Michigan being red hot is kind of a good thing for the Huskers. It’s not a must-win game but if NU wins, it’s a needle-mover.

Fred thought/said, on sports nightly, he hope Berke would be able to get some minutes against PSU. Not a full minutes, but a chance to get back in the mix. We’ll see…
he didn't travel

good news for a return before too long, though

I know Griffiths didn't do a whole lot against Northwestern, but I will give Fred credit for using him instead of Jacobson. Coaches love them some Johnny Tryhards, but it was time to see if Griffiths can help pick up some minutes down the stretch. Hopefully he'll get a little action against Penn State too.

Kind of hard to get minutes when he is in Lincoln.

I’m hoping he will be healthy enough next Monday against Meechigan.
Upsetting them will assure us getting into the dance.

This Kansas free fall is glorious!

It would be good to play them in the first round (possible 6-11 or 7-10 matchup). Their players have flat-out given up on this season. Will be an easy upset pick regardless of who they play in the first round.

Once Kansas is in the dance, they may give it their all once again. Hard to say they’ve given up on the postseason yet… maybe the regular season, but all bets are off once teams are in the big dance.

Maybe, but they've been bad away from Allen Fieldhouse all season, and they look like they don't give a crap. Bill Self has basically said that they all hate each other and need to get away from each other. I think they all just want this season to be over.

I guess they want to bump up to 76 teams for next year.

Seriously, just go to 128 teams with the first round games at home sites.

That way these brackets don’t keep getting more annoying to print out and pools more difficult to run. That’s what drives this tourney anyways.

Bill's life was much simpler when only certain programs could pay players and get away with it.

All I know is if AJ Storr goes into the portal we better be all over him. Kansas team just doesn't mesh well. They have a ton of talent if AJ Storr is only getting 16 minutes on a average team

For sure

@Penn St - Toss up (Could be a must Win. Game is very important IMO)
Mich - Toss up
Minnesota - Must Win
@Ohio St - Loss
Iowa - Must Win

I don't think so, he's been on three different teams in three years, and they've all underperformed. He just chases the money, he doesn't look like he cares at all. And he doesn't play any defense.

NU’s resume took a hit yesterday; NW blasting OSU dropped our win against the Buckeyes to a Quad 2.

Good news is that if NU beats OSU in Columbus, that is a certain Q1 win. If NU loses that, it might help OSU sneak back into the top 30 and restore NU’s earlier win to Q1 status.

Also gotta keep an eye on UCLA, they are on the brink of falling to a Q2 win as well.
