Ducks could give NU a little bump today. Rallied from 17 down in Madison. Now in OT.

I would be surprised if Nebraska's name is called on selection day. Team is all over the place

Wait, you WOULD be surprised if they DID get in?

I still think odds are in their favor of getting in, therefore it would be more surprising if they are left out. Now if they lose out, they don’t deserve a bid, but as others have said, if they take care of business at home, I don’t see how one can leave them out.

I would. It's just a really weird roster. Like a bunch of misfit toys thrown together. They have no point guard. It's just awkward. It would be very cool to see all 3 d1 teams called. UNL and UNO could very well be playing in the play in games on that Tuesday or Wednesday. Which for Omaha would really blow. If you win your conference auto berth you should be auto into the big bracket

Mind you it’s no longer a play in game..

So here’s the thing, all of the teams that are in a p4 conference and are <10ish seeds are all over the place and have misfit pieces. We can’t go 0-4 or 1-3 but we’re solidly in along with a lot of other flawed teams.

Yeah I think if NU goes 2-3 (that assumes a loss in the B1G tournament), they still squeeze in but it’s close. If one of those wins is over Michigan or at Ohio State, there’s a little more cushion. Win 3 and I think they’re in really solid shape.

Two more wins and we will be in. If this team can't find a way to win 2 more, with 3 home games left, then they don't deserve to be in.

Purdue’s losing streak about to reach four. Complete meltdown in the second half.

That’s been typical of Fred’s rosters here, misfits thrown together. Completely lacking at one position or another. Always a couple of solid players away from having a consistently decent team.

UNO has a great group of coaches, led by Crutchfield. Having lost their star player to the portal after last year makes this seasons results even more impressive. I can see UNO and St Thomas moving past the Dakota schools as top dogs in the summit, their urban locations give them an advantage in my opinion.

What the hell are the women doing this afternoon. Whatever it is, it is not good basketball.

It’s as simple as everyone has already stated. Win 2 more were safely in and probably a 9 seed. Win only 1 more, well, the 1 win better be Michigan and even then we’re probably looking at a play in game. 0-4 is game over, and like you said we would’ve proved we don’t belong.

CBS just said we’re on the bubble when talking about our game against Michigan. 3-1 is what we need.

Still wrong. Say it as many times as you want. Or better yet wager with me on it. I'll give you 3 to 1 odds on nebraska going 2-2 and not making it for any amount you want.

We’ve dropped back to the First Four line in Lunardi’s bracket.

Yeah, we have to win 2 of the last 3 now, and possibly one in the Big Ten tournament. Michigan was our last chance to add another resumé win.

Honestly, being in the First Four wouldn't be the worst thing. It seems like most years, one of those First Four teams goes on to win their next game or two.

Would like to see Penn State boatrace Indiana. Really don’t want the Huskers competing for an st-large with a media darling like IU.

ESPN and CBS both have us in and not in the First Four/Play-IN game. So I still think if we can win 2 of the last 3 we should get in.

The interesting thing though is there are quite a few big-name programs on the Bubble - UNC, Texas, Indiana, Ohio State. Will the committee give preference to these more prestigious programs?

You damn right they will. We make it if we will all three.

Back to the last bye now in Linardi’s bracket.

Also gotta keep an eye on the conference standings. Really need to avoid the 10 seed. There will be nothing gained by beating the 15 seed on Wednesday, but a whole lot to lose. At least the 8/9 game will likely be a Quad 1 game.

Minnesota is simply an “Must Win” game tomorrow. If NU happened to beat OSU on the road, the Iowa game is gravy. One way another, NU needs 2 more wins.

That would require us to finish ahead of Indiana and Ohio State. Both those teams are showing life. We are not.

The Gophers have won their last 3 road games, but lost their last 4 home games. So they seem to play better on the road. I don't expect it to be an easy win.

Terps just got their hearts ripped out by Sparty

Unreal way to lose
Yeah they did!

They also will be a very nasty team in the tourney assuming that head case Reese can hold it together. Queen is going to get his.
