Hit a pretty good SGP. Tennessee ML, Clemson under 31.5, and more points scored in the second half. I hit under 42.5 to hedge mid third quarter just in case there weren’t more than 17 points scored in the half. That late FG got me.

Call me crazy but I think I’m gonna do a big amount on over 14.5 first half total points in the Kentucky game tomorrow. I think Iowa brings out a trick play on ST. Just a feeling on that one.

Third string QB getting the start for the Hawks. Brian has implemented more of a shotgun, read option offense with Labas having more wheels than Petras by a long shot. Not sure how much Labas will keep it since the only other QB that’s healthy is a true freshman.

Under 31.5 seems too dang easy. It’s why I may be dumb and take the over. I do like Iowa -2.5. Only one opt out on the defense for the Hawks. Kentucky has quite a few on the offensive side. Could see some TO’s give Iowa good field position or TD’s. Same could go for Kentucky’s defense against Labas.

I’m more excited for this game than if Petras was starting. I’d laugh my *** off if Labas looks really good. Always got scout team reps this year.

I'll be watching Iowa, having worked at the UI for five years. Watching a Brian Ferentz offense is actually fascinating. You know they're bad, but you just can't imagine the depths of awful they can reach in a particular series or game.

It was flabbergasting.

I mean, you have to give Kirk credit. Unlike Stoops at UK, he knew the backup QB who made the fewest mistakes would probably win. So Labas didn't do much throwing downfield, sticking to safe TE passes and punts.

Stoops thought his slow, immobile, weak-armed reserve QB could force passes downfield to his scout team receivers and behind the worst OL in college football. Iowa, as it has a tendency to do, made him pay.
