It's just an exhibition, against an over-matched opponent, but I can't remember so many baskets within the paint area (or more specifically right around the rim). I like it!

Ask Gary has me cracking up.....well done.

Yes it's only BSU, but this Duke team is going to dangerous in the paint. My goodness!

How did k even know? According to Roy it is too hard know.

Also I thought the NCAA has no say on academics. So why should k care. :)

K making unc and NCAA look dumb with equality T-shirt’s and academic suspensions.

Trent is a player. Bagley is a freak, and Carter is so solid. Grayson just looks so smooth out there. Those 4 really clicked well together.
I realize it was just an exibition against a very weak team, and I know the season hasn't started, but from what I saw Bolden should stay for his junior year. Not trying to be critical of him at all, I think he's going to help Duke but he is not nearly as smooth as Carter.
This team is big and very athletic, and I like how they looked out there. Duke should be tough to beat, and if they improve come February, watch out.

Bolden needs the Rudy Gobert workout. His coordination and balance is what is holding him back. He’s got decent anticipation, just no agility.

After criticizing Bolden probally the most here ..he looked like he’s got his confidence back and that’s the most important thing , the rest will follow in coming games..we’re huge! What’s wrong with tucker? ...that’s the biggest surprise to me so far

Was really really impressed with Trent. He’s definitely gonna be a problem for teams this season.

Hard to really tell anything from a game like this but imo our bigs are going to shoot a ton of free throws this year.We shot 76 percent today hope this holds up all year

I worked today and no access to the game. Saw the stats and looks like we played really well. Sounds like Grayson had a heck of an all-around game. Bagley and Carter must have just owned the paint. I hope Duval,Alex and Goldwire enjoyed watching the game. OFC

- Loved seeing the zone working effectively.
- Even though they were paying a glorified high school team, this has to create even more of a “buy-in” for the bigs when it comes to working together.
- As nice as it looked, I still don’t want Grayson at point. Duke really needs Tre to be good.
- It may be possible that we see JRob get some spot minutes here or there. He’s active, he has length and he plays a role similar to what Javin and Jack play and so far he’s been better than Jack.
- Jordan Tucker is trying way too hard to get minutes. He’s going to struggle getting on the floor this season and he’s in that no mans land where he’s pressing too much when he’s on the floor and not letting the game come to him. This should have been expected though. There was a reason the staff waited so long to get really involved here. He’s a good player and great kid, but he won’t be ready for this level of college ball until his junior year.

I was impressed by JRob as well. He's not quite Ingram long but he's pretty long. And the passing between our bigs. And Grayson and Trent are lighting it up. The pieces are in place we just need more experience and we will as the season goes on.

Passing between our bigs is the best I’ve seen at duke...ever! But it’s only 2 games but it’s good sign nonetheless
