Of all the players in Div I he is the one a team would not miss if injured.

Bolden might suck, but he was their only true center ans post player. He's a big loss, if you can believe it.

I'm assuming he's out for 2 weeks or more? That would mean, no ACC tournament, and might miss opening weekend? Could be a disaster for Duke.

I run a few 8-team drafts for March Madness.. and no one wants to pick Duke in the first 3 spots. They could win it all as is.. or they could lose in the first weekend, quite easily

He is done for this season which does hurt Duke as he was the one real big they had and he had played well since Zion went out. It would be like us losing Quickley ( in terms of importance to team ) so it does matter.

Wrong . If you said that last season I would agree but he was playing well the past month and averaging 10 and 6 in the last month . He is a vital piece of their team and now they zero bigs really .

He’s better than Richards. Richards has to have the worst +|- on our team when in the game.

So Bolden...he a 4 and done player or does he go for a hardship year? Say...wasn't he supposed to be one and done?? He should be great with all that extra coachin' by Coach Rat.

No hardships are ever given when you are injured in the last game of the regular season

This. He's a huge loss for them. They have ZERO inside game right now. Zion will be the only inside option if Bolden is out the remainder of the season, providing he does actually return.

If UNC and Duke meet up in the ACC Tourney, Duke may fear whos the next player going down for them lol. Thats two key players thats been sacrificed playing UNC

Good point,if they do meet again UNC has a problem,it is difficult to beat most any team 3 times a year.In this case a team with very similar talent. If Zion plays and Duke wins he will get too much credit and it will skew the committee's thinking more than it should.Lord knows no one needs that since we are talking about Duke. I think best case is that Virginia wins the ACCT

Look I am sorry but I no sympathy for anything dook, the committee will just figure out a way to give them some other type of break or benefit in the brackets

His sprain is probably worse than TR and ZW had. They both walked off the court on their own. Bolden had to be helped. I doubt he plays again this season.

Maybe, maybe not. Hell, Tre Jones acted like he would need a leg amputation last week and was back for the UNC game. Duke players tend to be drama queens, so it's hard to gauge the severity of injuries.

It's definitely something to keep an eye on though. Duke was already thin, this could be a potential serious problem for them.

Zion and RT have been out for over 2 weeks with a similar issue, if Bolden is out for 2 weeks, they're screwed.

This is my thought .. Duke has a MASSIVE hole in the team now, if Zion stays injured, or if he gets into foul trouble, they have ZERO depth at the position. After seeing the injury, I seriously do NOT see him coming back. It was horrible, even if it was "only" an MCL.

Having said that, I still hope he can get well soon. But to underestimate the damage this does to Duke would, I think, be a mistake.
