It's definitely something to keep an eye on though. Duke was already thinking, this could be a potential serious problem for them.

Zion and RT have been out for over 2 weeks with a similar issue, if Bolden is out for 2 weeks, they're screwed.
If Zion returns I don't think they will miss Bolden all that much.

I do. If Zion gets in foul trouble, Duke has Delaurier and that's it.

Zion has been living on ACC officiating. He's been allowed to play like a bull in a China shop and rarely get into foul trouble.

There has been at least 2 league games where he never even picked up a single foul.

That's just not possible and in the NCAAT, he won't get that treatment.

If Duke is playing a 4 seed and Zion gets into foul trouble, they are in deep doo doo without Boldon .

Time will tell and if I'm wrong I'll be happier than if I am right.

No hardships are ever given when you are injured in the last game of the regular season

Yep. I believe your team can only play in 30% of its schedule when you get hurt, and still get a medical redshirt. That would have been around the last week of Dec or first week of Jan. After that, you have spent your eligibility.

He's got it almost right he may be sitting on the bench at Duke for life.

I hope everyone is his family sits awake at night and questions themselves of what might have been at Kentucky. Especially his mom, who was the deciding vote in his "going to Duke" decision.

He is done for this season which does hurt Duke as he was the one real big they had and he had played well since Zion went out. It would be like us losing Quickley ( in terms of importance to team ) so it does matter.

It would be like us losing EJ.

This is my thought .. Duke has a MASSIVE hole in the team now, if Zion stays injured, or if he gets into foul trouble, they have ZERO depth at the position. After seeing the injury, I seriously do NOT see him coming back. It was horrible, even if it was "only" an MCL.

Having said that, I still hope he can get well soon. But to underestimate the damage this does to Duke would, I think, be a mistake.
Zion will not get into foul trouble the rat faced bastard will not allow any fouls to be called on him now for sure

Does Duke have any more freshman they can pull the redshirt off of and play in Bolden's place?

He will be a tough loss for them. Obviously, he's not close to losing Williamson, but his play had improved as the season has progressed. He's had some big games for them.

He and DeLaurier held down the 5 spot and it will change everything at that position. Having both those guys available allowed them both to play loose and free, trying to block every shot down low or sending guys to line to make them earn it. DeLaurier has been seriously foul prone, so he will have to change his habits quickly, which may be tough.

The other thing is Bolden was really the only other guy who plays who has the size and strength to play a true center. He is 6-11 250. DeLaurier is 6-10 and about 230 or so. He can handle most big men but struggles to do so without fouling. So, Bolden will most definitely be missed.

He may be back. I looked up MCL sprain, and if he only has a grade one, recovery time is 1-3 weeks. I guess it just depends on the severity.

That puts him back right smack dab in the middle of the NCAAT, he'll be out of game shape and it could throw them off.
But, that's still better than not having him.
