He has apparently eliminated UK. He isnt coming guys. That's according to Daniel's and other real sources. I'm no insider, but this is becoming pretty obvious.
And you created this account yesterday. I’m no insider either but this is becoming pretty obvious you’re a dumb troll.

So he's going to Tenn. to be the man?
So he wouldn't be "the man" at Virginia Tech, Florida, or Texas A & M? And as someone has already alluded to above, he's a totally different type of player than Williams.

A few points.
1) If Kentucky & Cal can't get him to the NBA, NOBODY can.
(If he only wanted to be the man, he could of stayed at VT)

2) If he wants the best chance at a championship, It's Kentucky.

3) If he wants the school with the most TV exposure, It's Kentucky.

4) If he wants the best basketball fanbase. It's Kentucky.
(not some football school where basketball is secondary)

5) If wants a coach with the most NBA connections, It's Kentucky.

The only RATIONAL choice is Kentucky.
But as we know these young men don't always make the rational choice. But to not think we are the favorites because Barnes promised to make him the centerpiece, is just silly IMO.

Comes back because he doesn't like where he is going to be drafted. There is a huge gap between UK developing versus others, and EVERYONE know it that are being honest. Including the Blackshears. Yet, they take three weeks playing around with other schools that doesn't have what UK has in terms of what he is looking for in becoming a higher draft pick. And not only that, when drafted, look at how well our guys does compared to others, when they enter the league. It's obvious their thinking and what they are looking for are different, to some extent, than what is obvious to most in thinking rationally of what would best for improving that draft status.

Learning to play with other great players in practice, improving your one on one game with a great teacher like Payne, playing in front of the big stage every night out, like in the pro's and learning to bring it every second of every day are real things that would make a difference in how quickly you adjust to the next level. Exposure to scouts, is here, like no other place. Looking for easier instead of what is best would be very naive thinking. But obviously, something like that must be being considered. What else could it be?

Well good thing nothing appears to be happening .UT fans have acted confident so some how the the UK fans who aren't confident are worrying not a single person in the business or any of our insiders have said he is going to UT . NOt a one . So why worry about that ? Hell not that I like Daniels at all but he even said it wasn't between UK and UT suggesting UF might still be in it . It would be shocking if we didn't get him. We will still be a top 2 team without him so no big deal but not sure how UK fans couldn't feel good about this.

He's not getting drafted no matter where he goes.
If a much younger player like Naz Reid doesn't get drafted then a 23 yr old KB won't either.
He'll have to play his way into the NBA via the two way contract.
His abilities have been way overhyped since his recruitment began.

I bet Cal gets him drafted if he comes to UK. I will take bets. (If you're speaking of Blackshear.)

Probably would. So much more here than other places to get that. One comment about him playing with our guys and thinking about his playing time, we have no real effective back to the basket 5's, and if he has no more knowledge or confidence than that, he will have a rough time making over the long haul at the next level IMO.

Blackshear has been told he needs to learn to defend and lateral movement from what I have read. Who rather than cal would you go to on the list KB has given? Sorry if he goes elsewhere he is making a horrible career decision.

LOL, U mean like you have the last couple of years!!!
I can’t imagine pulling for a team that, on their best year, goes nowhere in the tourney.

It’s like a poor mans Kansas Jayhawks. Yay regular season success!!!!!!

Someday you’ll make it past the elite 8. That’s only happened for Kentucky about 10 times since I’ve been around. Good luck.

Still think McDaniels is coming to UK?

Is he the one that said he was going to retire in all his glory after McDaniels committed to UK and when he didn't he said he wasn't going to post here much anymore this summer for different reasons?

Why are people taking shots at Dave Kersey? Here's what I read from his post on the "Done Deal" thing and if anything he confirms he's not heard that, just sharing what he has heard:

Tim Coleman, who I don't know, says it is done.
Mitchell Joe, who I don't know, says it is done.

I don't know that it is done. But, I just now got off the highway having been on the road since 8am. So you tell me, is it done?

That sound like someone who is saying it's done deal? Sounds to me like a fan who was trying to find out if anytihng official broke regarding Blackshear. Dave has proven to be a gentleman in my interactions with him and last guy to come off as "sources" guy but I'm going off my experience.

And how the heck did Rupp's Runt get involved in this? I haven't read the thread, did he predict something? If so, apologize, but don't get the Jaden McDaniels reference as he wasn't alone on hearing he was going to Kentucky. Things change. At least he didn't delete it like some of the "Twitter Gurus" did to pretend they are always correct.

Can't wait for this decision to be made and move onto '20 class.

100% false. Dave Kersey made it very clear he was passing on info from others he didn't know.

Yeah, but starting a thread saying "it's said that it's done" is going to turn this place upside down and he had to know it would. I have no issue with him but he had to know posting something like that was very very premature and would cause a frenzy.

How could he know it was "very very premature"?

I agree. I think most of it is from low post count members, who have 5 posts since 2006, or something. Smells like Coach11, PJshaivan69, etc, has figured out a way to backdate accounts

Anything reported before it's official is premature. If you want me to take the very very off of it, I'll try but it may have already melted.

Let me see if I get what you are stating. No one should post anything until it's official. (can't just single out Dave.) If I am not understanding that, let me know as I am going to ask Cats-illustrated to shut down their operation. (They won't but that is the effect of what you are asking.)

So we're assuming that fans will not read anything but just look at title? If that's case, it's on the fan. He wanted to get an answer as he was traveling...best way to do so is how he went about it IMO. If he asked in another thread, may not get seen.
