When you blow your mind with drugs and become an announcer you are very entertaining. He is right where he belongs, arms wrapped around a maple tree on the left coast. Very entertaining and colorful.

If he wasn't a basketball legend he would be annoying but the fact that he's an all time college hoops great backs him up. Wouldn't jive in the SEC but is PERFECT for the PAC 12 and covering games in California, Colorado, and the Pacific Northwest.

Tie dye tshirts, hugging trees, "the Left coast"... I fully expect a Trump diatribe at any moment, ha! I guess I can see the reason some like him. If you don't have a rooting interest in the game and just want to be entertained he might be alright. I watch the games to enjoy what is happening on the floor and don't want to be entertained by the equivalent of Dick Vitale after years of drug abuse. If he was doing one of our games I would probably just listen to the radio. He should just get a YouTube channel and broadcast his ramblings on there.
Is he a "leftist liberal"? I don't know and don't care. As for the drugs though, liberals have always been better druggies. Conservatives are terrible druggies. Bill Maher nailed it saying conservatives are the oxy and meth crowd. Liberals go natural with weed and kale smoothies. That might be Walton's style?
