You'll have to forgive them. They don't get to the tournament much these days. As a result, many of them probably think the game will be played in Bloomington.
Bilas also picked the Japs in WWII right after they invaded Poland in 1930.

I'd say that there's no counter-argument for UK being under-seeded in '11, '14, and '16. The evidence is clear enough.

Yes, this IU team is just as good as the 2012 one. But this UK team is not as good as that 2012 Wildcat team was. This one could go either way. IU looked like the best offensive team in the tournament yesterday, UK looked like the best defensive team. It's an absolute crying shame that regular season champs in two of the five power conferences are playing in the 2nd round instead of the Final 4.

"Night of their lives shooting" has occurred 16 times this season...when Indiana is on, they are good.
I like Bilas. He has enormous respect for our program, coach, and usually has nothing but nice things to say. I think his analysis is always spot on, I really enjoy him when he announces games for us. Heck, he gave our team last year in the bahamas a fantastic speech. So what he picked IU. They looked really good last night. Big 10 regular season champs is impressive considering the depth of the Big 10. I can see why he would pick them. But let's not act like Bilas sucks, and is the worst when in reality, he is one of the best in the business.

Slow your roll correction boy. Where the hell are you getting that they have shot that well 16 times? I just checked and they have had ONE game better than last night. They have had 4 games shooting 60 percent or better though, which is impressive. But a long way from 16 times.

He has the right to his opinion. My opinion is if the refs hadn't allowed Duke to shoot 40 free throws they would have lost yesterday.
This is a fact. It's a tragedy how year in and year out refs gift wrap wins for Duke. But yesterday they shot 44 free throws. What a joke.
I like Bilas and think he's one of the best in the biz, but as another poster pointed out he did pick Cornell against us in 2010 so he can be crazy wrong. Also another poster said the IU team in 2011-12 was as good as this one, that team had 2 Top-5 lottery picks in Zeller and Oladipo, other than Ferrell who may go somewhere in the 1st round, IU has no surefire NBA picks.

It's not an opinion when facts prove the opinion wrong. Like when bilas trolled UK the other day saying Kris dunn is the best pg in the land. That's not an opinion he doesn't believe that he just wanted to troll. But yes he sure as hell does his homework when he makes statements like dunn being the best PG in the land. Dakich gets paid to analyze basketball, are you going to sit there and say Dakich does a great job? IMO bilas sucks just as much as Dakich.
