The big ten lost 1 game as a better seed and won 1 as a lower seed and lost one as the same seed. Big deal. The big ten standings and tiebreakers are completely irrelevant mental gymnastics

we will see once the first rd is over. I guess not a huge deal now…but not a great start.

You think that because we were the fourth seed we are automatically the fourth best team in the big ten? Ok

i think it poses the question. Yes. I didn’t answer though..as I said a few posts we will see at end of first rd

SEC Blows.

Only conference worth anything is WCC. St Mary's and Gonzaga representing. Pepperdine should have gotten an at large bid.

The Big Ten loss a lot of their best players coming into this season. The regular season showed the parity among the teams with the number of upsets The NCAA Tournament has shown its all about match ups and the teams with the better guards usually win.The Rutgers game against Notre Dame were evenly matched.teams and might turn out as one of the best tournament games.

Yes! Sarcasm eludes you.
All the hot takes that the Big Ten blows are ridiculous.
People need to stop and realize it is March Madness.
There’s a difference between being overrated and a conference that blows. Hope people are smart enough to understand This

(Yes I realize that 0-5 was not technically possible since Indiana needed to win the first game in order to play the second)

These mid major schools are better every year. The talent in college basketball is deeper than ever.

Big Ten went 1-1 in play in as expected.
5 seed Iowa almost cancels out with 11 seed Michigan winning.
So the only negative right now is 12 seed losing to 5 St. Mary's. Ok...

7 seed Ohio State, 7 seed MSU, 4 seed Illinois, 3 seed Purdue, 3 seed Wisconsin still left.

Wayyyy too soon to call big ten overrated. If 4 of those five win, Big Ten is fine

If all of them want to lose and leave Michigan the only Big Ten team left, that's also fine by me :)

Big 10 is overrated. It has good teams - not national title contending teams

Conference needs to recruit on a much higher level and bring in more athletic kids

Unfortunately the only coach doing the above in conference is Juwann Howard.
