Oops didn't mean Notre Dame, Basketball doesn't really make much of a financial splashND would be a loser pickup? KU would be OK from a basketball perspective. The other 2? yeah, less than decent.
**** what a dream if we could get Tufts.I hear you. My sources are telling me that Carnegie Melon and Tufts are next on the list if we can't lure Tulane and Rice. You'd think Tulane and Rice would be locks since the B1G offered, but actually the SEC is courting them also and right now I'm hearing they could go either way.
We were kicked out in 2012 or 2013 I believe.I don't know right off hand, we joined around 1906 I think, which was probably pretty cheap back then
How many of you know that 16 schools play athletics in the Big 10?The "update" is ********. Besides football, Notre Dame is an ACC member. Notre Dame has exclusivity with the ACC and the football schedule is locked in until 2037.
4 teams
ku, rice, tulane & nd (all aau except nd)
further updates to come
that's why I mentioned okie state gettin with the aau program.Any school that joins the BIG needs to reside in a state that shares a common boundary with a state of an existing school.
Also, the University of Chicago...I have read that if they ever choose to bring back a Division 1 athletic department they would be welcomed back....but don't know if that is actually true. How many of you know that 16 schools play athletics in the Big 10?
notre dame is a member for hockey
John Hopkins is a member for lacrosse.
But no one gives a **** about those sportsHow many of you know that 16 schools play athletics in the Big 10?

They've been crying ever since.Notre Dame applied for admission to the Big Ten on two occassions in the early 20th century (also once when it was the Western Conference IIRC) and Michigan led the charge to blackball them each time. After the third rejection, Notre Dame publically said they thought their application was faught against by some members of the conference on religious grounds. ND then decded to prioritize their commitment to football, hired Rockne, and the rest is history.
You are absolutely clueless.I don't know right off hand, we joined around 1906 I think, which was probably pretty cheap back then
Sad but true. I mean, even VB (I know Husker fans are super into it) is another sport that no one cares about. But no one gives a **** about those sports

and you are void of a sense of humorYou are absolutely clueless.
not so much basketball...even though Im not a big title x guy...I would say lexi sun earns her keepSad but true. I mean, even VB (I know Husker fans are super into it) is another sport that no one cares about.
Football and basketball, that is it.
I remember saying when the built pinnacle they should go ahead and make it ice rink ready...Pinnacle bank would sell out if Nebraska ever added hockey.
I would say both to be safe, that way nd can join and get that big 10 network payout growing proper like.Does Michigan have to apologize for blackballing them from the conference or because ND accused Michigan of religious bigotry?
Fair enough. Troll on sir.and you are void of a sense of humor
