Another insanely talented WR that Frost had no clue how to use and now gone. Honestly, it's so frustrating.

I don't know the back story, but seems like a guy who averaged 15 yards every time he touched the ball could be missed.

The tweets said he isnt a part of the team "right now". Wonder if he is just academically ineligible. I believe he has struggled in that dept.

Disappointing, I really thought he was poised to carve out a bigger role. Wish him luck going forward.

Unreal.. This is very shocking news considering Mickey Joseph is now our receivers coach..

What‘s the issue..

There is no mid semester grade check for eligibility. He would have had to have been ineligible at semester. That would have been known over Christmas and he wouldn’t have been a part of the team since then.

hell kids that are one a done in basketball basically skip 2nd semester and can play the whole season.

There's one person to blame here and it sure as **** isn't Frost.

Betts' attitude has been a problem since he's been here. Hell, he and his dad have even admitted it.

I don't have membership to RSS, so maybe discussed there. Probably not a mere coincidence that it follows the day after Mickey's tweet re roster spots yesterday. Good enough to get 15 yards per catch or not, less than 2 catches per game isn't going to be a lot of missed production.

all of his issues were well known during the recruitment process - all the other power 5 programs backed off
it is once again an example of going after low hanging fruit and then people being shocked when guys like this don't stick

The bigger issue was him qualifying and Covid helped him out on that.. If he had any attitude problems he sure at times didn’t play as much as I thought he would…

I know the portal has increased roster turnover across the landscape, but man, the number of WR recruits that Frost has brought in and have subsequently left or forced to leave is almost hard to believe.

Guess we know why Joseph has been making the comments he's been making over the last week.

Would be pretty easy to get frustrated as a receiver recently. Most passes either high or ankles, bounce or overthrown. Would think the ones on board would be ecstatic now

no surprise since we constantly insist on hitting the reset button with new coaches every year or two. every time we do that theres a period where stuff like this happens and we have to wait for the culture to set in again

"Not Scott's fault, not Mickey's fault, this is on Zavier." - paraphrasing DB.

Kid needs to decide if he wants to play football or not.
