One of the biggest hucksters out there.
This is my last experience with him:
It was either 97 or 98 and he was (as usual) in the middle of a gigantic slump. So one of his big "selling points" is that he's an ethical guy who has big time inside information at the University of Memphis, and therefore would NEVER give out their games as a play. His plays usually topped out as "25 stars" (I think they top out at "10 stars" now and this type of jargon alone should have tipped me off to what he was). But to bust this slump he was going to do something he had NEVER done as a 50 star play and guaranteed the play with the rest of the season for free. Now mind you, you were lucky to have money left to wager with if following his picks, but he gave out Louisville minus the points against a horrific Memphis team. That's right he finally cashed in all his years of "inside information" to boldly predict that a good Louisville team was going to blow out a bad Memphis team. Memphis lost by 3. I think UL was favored by 20 or so. And that's my super ethical and honest Rainman story.
