Who are the greatest college athletes ever? It doesn't matter how their professional career turned out. Both male and female athletes should be considered. So sports should be considered. Once I started to thinking about it there were so many. I wouldn't be a Duke fan of I did not start with one of our own. Christian Laettner. He in my opinion is in the top five and of course it is objective.He was at his best in those big games. He just refused to lose. I can't help but imagine when he was on the losing end just how he took it.There are tons of opposing fans that don't like him. Some even have him which is beyond me. As a good Duke friend of mine always says he is an ******* but he's he's our *******. OFC

Either Herschel Walker or Nick Horvath, I can't really pick between those two.

Bo Jackson was just not human. He is one of those that was the best at every sport at every level. Imo not only the best college athlete ever but the best pro athlete ever as well. Shame a injury ended his career far too early.
Big Luke looks like he's added 15 pounds of pure muscle to his frame.

Len Bias. Don’t even care he was a Terp. Everything I’ve read, he was one of the best college players ever.
Pete Incaviglia. 48 H.R's. In one year. May still be a record. Played MLB for a while. Struck out a lot .OFC
Growing up, Bias was my favorite player, I was excited when he was the #1 pick and going to play for the Celtics. I thought he would become the G.O.A.T, what a tragedy.
I gotta nominate Pete Mavarich. For those who never saw him play you missed something special. He was doing things with a basketball 20 years before anyone else. OFC
