Son-in-law played in pro/am charity tournament in Florida. One of the auction items was a Jack Nicklaus putter:
...used in a tournament
...autographed + authenticated by Jack
...same model he used to win 86 Masters

He paid $5k but to me it is priceless!

I have to say watching my grandkids ripping open packages and then bringing each new toy to granddad and say granddad can you help me with this please !!

I got to feel my baby boy kick for the first time. That was pretty cool. Other than that my wife got us a new tempurpedic bed and a bunch of clothes. She usually gets us tickets to a game but didn’t want to go while prego this year.

My dad seems obsessed with buying me tools so I will quit borrowing all of his.

Then you received the greatest gift of all. Unfortunately I've been in the hospital since last week, and I missed my grandson's first Christmas. My son bought him a bib that said, "Who needs Santa when I have Grandma."

It about broke my heart, but my son has become an amazing man and although he missed his mom too, then he went out of his way to make sure it would be a Christmas I would never forget. So while I may not have been there in person (geography), then my heart was with my grandson and family.

Best Christmas EVER!!

Watching the grandkids shred the wrapping paper. It was everywhere. Oh, and my son got me S and W 40 cal. Big breakfast with lots of family and friends. Love Christmas traditions.

Having my wife and son go to Christmas Eve service with me and then to an excellent Chinese restaurant in Kaneohe....and having my son order all his favorite dishes ...
